Clash of clans is interesting because on the surface, it looks purely like a pay to win game, but one you get your base max (which everyone does at that top level fairly easily) it becomes a pure strategy game. Additionally, if you are good enough at taking advantage of metas, you can get up to those higher league ranks with MUCH lower level bases.
So its a pay to win game for he vast majority of the playerbase, except for the players at the top, and at the top it starts to actually become a skill game.

We do not and have not had the space to have more people, and if you want to talk short-sightedness, it's short-sighted to bring in people you can't house to get an immediate bump to GDP instead of putting a few years in to making the people you can't get rid of (unskilled nationals) more productive. Migration feeds an endless treadmill while exacerbating chronic issues, it's not good anywhere, it's predatory at best and self-destructive at worst.

Refugee numbers also aren't exactly some massive contributor either, since it was one of the main talking points of Brexit was being able to control the borders and who immigrates. It's also important to note that a lot of said Emigration is from Students leaving, and Work Visas expiring, rather than being pure brain drain from Nationals leaving. Overall, it's shortsighted to call it "A Migration issue" when other countries across the world have been managing it just fine as a net Economic benefit. Saying that it's different because the UK is an island nation doesn't exactly hold up because the trend largely holds up across countries all over the globe. I do agree that it is incredibly short sighted to not address housing, and fixing the labour/education systems, but these are deep seated and chronic issues that need addressing that isn't solely confided to Migration. Austerity clearly isn't working, and is eroding quality of life, which has its own knock on effects everywhere else. There are some serious, dramatic issues with the UK and I think those need to be addressed, and that losing Immigrants would be a large economic net negative, but agree to disagree and all that. Just means that other countries get to reap the benefits. With Labour in power, we'll see how things go, but it'll be a shame if things continue to erode and lost out on immigration benefits all the while.

As a German the whole nuclear thing makes me very mad. Not because there is no point in what he says, but in his argumentation completely ignoring the German situation. We had very low nuclear already and have a very high % of renewables thats evermore growing. Because of this we mostly need flexible power sources to fill the gap created by the fluctuation of these renewables, which nuclear cant. We shut down 3 plants that where giving 2% of our power that we didnt need. They where the most expensive energysouce too. Its just economicly stupid to run those or build more. We renewed some coal plants bcs of Russian gas going away, not the nuclear thing. Sorry for venting so hard, but maybe you understand my Frustration:)
