I think the "its normal to consume more than you produce" thing is a bit off of what the guy in the video meant. Making a movie and watching a movie is not a 1 to 1 trade. Start to finish a Tarantino could work on a movie he produces for 10,000 hours. If he then goes and spends 4 hours watching 2 movies he did not "consume more than he produced"

To the people asking if the story is jazzed up, of course it is, as it always is with National Heroes. He’s actually fairly unique in the sense that we have his Diary about his own accounts for the war, various battles, strategies, and his own perspective on the matter. In any case, the story is always better when it’s one hero, but the fact remains that he’s at the very least, a very good Admiral.

It's funny how dismissive he is about the iPhone/Harry Potter one, because it speaks to how he actually doesn't understand the timing of that. It was 2007. I'm 23 years old, I have a job, I deal with taxes, insurance, etc. I was 6 in 2007. I was mostly focused on SpongeBob and Legos. The only reason I have any real context for when Harry Potter was coming out is because I have older siblings that were really into it, and so I got into the series too. But for my friends that don't have older siblings? Or for those many ADULTS who are still younger than me? Both Harry Potter and iPhones are really just "old things" from the recent past. It's pretty normal for these people (not to mention the teenagers or kids that are also watching those videos) to not really have context for all of that. I guarantee you that if you showed Atrioc a similar thing but for some ubiquitous technology that came out while he was in kindergarten or preschool he wouldn't have been so dismissive, and my parents would probably think he was weird for being surprised by it because it's so obvious to them
