You need more carbon parts to bring it together. Do door handles, maybe go to carbon finish on the rear lip, consider carbon window visors. Maybe a rear window spoiler thing to

I honestly feel like the rpf1 aren't doing your car justice. Some blue te37 (or similar) would go hard with that wrap

I had a carbon problem on my 250 at 123,000 miles. I used the sea foam you spray into the vacuum line and during the treatment LOTS of smoke came out. Drove it hard for the next 15 miles. Before the treatment i was experiencing rough starts and sometimes the engine shaking at idle. After treatment the shaking at idle went away and the hard starts didn’t go away but significantly got better. Also, my mpg went up 2. I say give sea foam a shot but don’t expect it to clean the deposits completely. Best bet is it get it walnut blasted and install an oil catch to get rid of the problem permanently.

Scotty Kilmer really vouches for ATS fuel and oil cleaner. Hes tried it on multiple GDI engines and even some toyotas and it looks like its made a difference tbh i might try that after i seafoam mine

I wouldn't sea foam. I used to use it....but I've personally seen a piece of carbon break off and get stuck between the piston and the cylinder wall and cause havoc due to using sea foam in the induction system. And especially that is250 builds a lot of carbon on the intake valves, there is greater risk. And at best, it provides extremely minimal gains.
As a previous posts states, sea foam in the gas tank has minimal affect on is250s. It may help with fuel injectors, fuel system benefits, but it doesn't clean intake valves due to the IS GDI engine.

I agree. Looks Tacky with exposed carbon. But most of these kids like to show off their carbon fiber parts. Lol.

Hey did you put any adhesive 3m tape on your v style front lip? I remembered you took it off easily by just unscrewing the bolts😭 so im guessing you only have screws no 3m tapes?

Yup only screws. Tried 3m tape but it would lift up every time I went over a speed bump or driveway lol

Seafoam in your gas tank does not work for direct injection engines in terms of cleaning the carbon on the valves, as no gasoline ever touches the valves. The only way it works is if you put in after the throttle body of the car and enact the proper procedure, but even that does not work as the carbon is often too hard for the seafoam to be of any use. Seafoam only works best when it has time to soak into the valves, which is not something that happens when you spray it into the intake of the car. The best thing you can do for a 2IS is to get an oil catch can.

I was also planning on trying seafoam on my 250. I am guessing it has been a little since you recorded the video so was it worth it?

I spent 600 bucks on the most hardcore cleaning you can do. Walnut blasting. Now my Lexus IS250 is happy 😃with no carbon buildup.
