I just started a rewatch after catching up to latest season. Didn't appreciate Eris character growth first time around but on this rewatch I'm enjoying her so much
Can’t wait. I just finished seasons 1 & 2 in the past week and I’m completely blown away by this series. It’s kinda sad how the reputation completely skewed my perception. Example, I used to see ppl online call Rudeus a slave owner or justifying slavery yet in the context of the story it’s the completely opposite. He literally saves Julie from imprisonment and gives her a life as his apprentice and never mistreats her at all. He treats it as adoption.
@@VashTheDamnFiendpeople hate on rudeus cuz he started out a little sick in the head sure, but he's always only been improving, and while some of the shit he's done is immoral, it's nothing compared to most other edgy anime MC's in the genre, people just like to hate mushoku.
@@VashTheDamnFiend I had alot of that same experience tbh when I started I thought let's see if this MC is really that disgustingly awful but man do people exaggerate things. Put aside the mess of his previous life memories with his current physical self and how each of those affects his mind etc. You brought up Julie that's a great example for my point. If Rudeus truly was as disgusting and bad as so many people accuse him of being there is nothing and no one stopping him from having people in Julie's position bought by him for whatever he wants. He has all the power resources connections to indulge in whatever sick desire ppl claim he has but he doesn't. Ive heard those slave owner comments too but even if they paid for Julie for selfish reasons her life became so much more free and fulfilling she isn't treated like a slave nor branded like one she also gets her own money Ive seen some other arguments but bottom line to me was that they saved and gave purpose to an innocent girl
@@VashTheDamnFiend I found people saying he should just nuke the slave auction place so funny 😂 when we have shown that a single saint tier swordsman could possibly be enough to kill Rudeus him blowing up a legal shop becoming a criminal isn't the brightest idea. I love that Mushoku Tensei is grounded in a sense where Rudeus can't just go boom and save the day. Sure he can kill the guards free the slaves there but who would feed them who would house them. Is Rudeus willing to risk himself and the people around him to do that because his enemies could hire someone that could be too much for him
I wish the anime didn't skip her perspective chapter in volume 6 before she left it really gave her character and behavior some depth put things into perspective. Its such a great POV chapter that highlights major points of their journey her fear of being a burden etc. One of my favorite moments from that chapter was when Eris finally hit Ruijerd after training for a year she thought she won't be a burden only for Rudeus to gain a demon eye and defeat her in the only thing she felt gave her any value in being in their team
Praying for Eris OVA 🙏
I like how the first few minutes are all scenes where rudeus is just getting beaten up lmao
He deserves it 😂
lol and then ppl have the nerve to get mad at him for getting some payback 😂
