I had it spoiled in a thumbnail of a video that RUclips recommended to me. Knowing that might have ruined the shock of his death, but it wont ruin the journey leading up to and following his death though. There is far more that happens before and after Paul dies. I read the web novel so I know mostly what to expect. This story is gonna be very heart wrenching and heat warming to see animated.
If Hitogami didn't instruct Rudeus to go to the University, perhaps Rudeus' wife would only be Roxy. Why is that? Firstly, the child of Rudeus and Roxy will eventually aid Orsted in battling Hitogami in the future. So, Hitogami is trying to separate Roxy and Rudeus to keep them apart. This was also shown in Episode 12, where Hitogami intentionally instructed Rudeus to go search for Kishirika. This way, when Roxy sees Eris and Ruijerd training, Rudeus won't be there. Secondly, Hitogami tells Rudeus to go to the University and says he'll regret it if he goes to the Begarit Continent. In truth, he's just afraid that Rudeus and Roxy will meet because Roxy is currently in the Begarit Continent helping Paul and the others save Zenith. If Rudeus goes to the Begarit Continent, he will encounter Roxy, and since Rudeus is destined to be Roxy's husband, Hitogami instructs Rudeus to go to the University, threatening that if he goes to the Begarit Continent, he'll regret it, but if he goes to the University, his ED will be healed. And because he knows that if Rudeus goes to the University, he'll marry Slyphy, the likelihood of Rudeus marrying again becomes smaller, but fate remains fate. In the end, Rudeus still marries Roxy after defying Hitogami's command not to go to the Begarit Continent.
Finished the LN to Volume 26 for a long time ago, and I got to say I'm glad that Rudeus got his approval on live better life than he should deserved in previous life. His character development is very vastly improvement, starts from being a absolute rude and Pervert idiot to a fully grown badass Mage.

I'm quite certain the timeline presented does not line up with the anime. It clearly establishes that inhabitants of the Asuran Kingdom celebrate every 5th anniversary of birth. Rudeus didn't have his 5th b-day party until well after he met Roxy. She gifted him his wand, which Sylphie uses in S2. I'm also quite certain that Eris is about 2 years older than him, which would make him 8 at the time of Eris' party where they shared a dance. As I recall, Rudeus was 3 years into training Eris when he was gifted his staff for his 10th b-day party by Eris and her family. Rudeus and Eris were teleported shortly afterward, possibly the following morning. Rudeus and Eris spent 3 years travelling home and arrived on Eris' 15th b-day. She fulfilled her promise to sleep with him on her 15th b-day, then left the following morning. The timeline presented falls back into phase with the parts I know by this point. I haven't been reading ahead, so no spoilers plz.
I don't like the concept of having multiple wives but Rudeus is so Handsome and capable I'm ignoring . But it would have been much better if he could have Roxy as his first wife, he was most affectionate with her at the beginning

More often than not, good stories leaves with an open-ended ending. Whether it be truly an ending up for speculation, or it be a happily-ever-after, there is room left for the audience's imagination to work with. However, Mushoku Tensei and a few other masterpieces tells 100% of the story, leaving the audience wanting for more but yet knowing that there's nothing left. To me, nothing screams "god-tier" more than a story that leaves you with that feeling of a void inside you. When a story I've followed for years comes to an end, it's like someone I knew passed away. I am left empty, knowing that their life has ended while mine moves on, meaning they can no longer accompany me into the future. Yet I am not sadden, because I knew they lived a long and fulfilling life. It was this way when Mushoku Tensei ended, it was this way for Horimiya, it was this way for Code Geass, and EVA, and Attack on Titan, and many other shows that I've followed for years and years. But it hits especially hard for those shows who's main character ends up passing away, because with their death, the story comes to a complete end, leaving no room for imagination. That's when the feeling of emptiness in my heart becomes so strong that I sometimes loose sleep. Of all of them that had left me with a void, Mushoku Tensei made the biggest one. Because "living a long and fulfilling life" no longer stays just a metaphor, but had became a reality in Redues's world. a beautiful arc about redemption and fulfillment that came to a full close. We can say our goodbyes, but there's no need to tell him to rest in peace, because as we saw in the final chapter, he already has.

those, the main problem of this anime (like all similar ones) is the author's sclerosis. The authors of the plot forgot that Rudy is only outwardly a teenage boy. In fact, this man was already more than fifty years old at the time of entering the Academy! And in this context, his actions and behavior look extremely stupid. Well in a sense they did get very close before Paul dies. Rudeus moves past it with the help of an old friend but hitogami says it could have been avoided, and up until the Roxy incident hitogami hadn't lied, so Paul's death was avoidable, but in the end, Paul's death did contribute to his growth

It was basically a dream with Rudeus in regards to the "future" of the world in which hitogami was defeated. The story itself for Rudeus is done but not the overall story of the world of mushoku tensei it's only the beginning, history will continue with his children and new chars.

The story only ends when Hitogami gets defeated. It will have a sequel with his children helping orsted in the fight against hitogami, the author already said it.
He gets a 2.5 meter tall mech suit with a Gatling Gun firing 10 full power Rock Bullets per second, or a shotgun firing 10 Rock Bullets at the same time. It also has a shield and a special sword attached to it that actually gets sharper when striking stronger armor. He also gets a black magic armor suit that he can wear at all times that makes him as physically tough as a Saint Rank Swordsman. Finally, he also has a supped up version of the original mech suit that is 3 meters tall, is significantly stronger, has greater ability, and has both the shotgun and Gatling Gun installed at the same time. The only downside to these magic armor mechs is that they drain his mana very fast. The MKI can only be used for one fight against a strong enemy before his mana is totally exhausted, which is normally impossible for him to use up. The MKII that he wears under the robe can be worn at all times, but it would still drain a normal person almost instantly. Finally, the MK0, the final version we see him use, has twice the mana drain of the MKI, but amplifies his abilities many fold, making it only usable for very short, high intensity battles.

And the web novel ended after rudeus died, no additional info about the upcoming war or how it ended, there are only few sub stories and its pretty much about his family.
Nanahoshi tried every option she could think of and concluded something in the future will happen to change why she can't teleport back right now. As of right now that plot thread remains loose until the sequel series.
I haven't read Manga so if this is correct then in my opinion there's atleast 2 more seasons will be coming to end the final chapter of Rudi, then i think Rudi's Son will be the one to finish the final chapter by defeating the main enemy (Hitogami/Mangod- I'm curious why and how he's the final enemy)

I'm quite certain the timeline presented does not line up with the anime. It clearly establishes that inhabitants of the Asuran Kingdom celebrate every 5th anniversary of birth. Rudeus didn't have his 5th b-day party until well after he met Roxy. She gifted him his wand, which Sylphie uses in S2. I'm also quite certain that Eris is about 2 years older than him, which would make him 8 at the time of Eris' party where they shared a dance. As I recall, Rudeus was 3 years into training Eris when he was gifted his staff for his 10th b-day party by Eris and her family. Rudeus and Eris were teleported shortly afterward, possibly the following morning. Rudeus and Eris spent 3 years travelling home and arrived on Eris' 15th b-day. She fulfilled her promise to sleep with him on her 15th b-day, then left the following morning.
The timeline presented falls back into phase with the parts I know by this point. I haven't been reading ahead, so no spoilers plz.

More often than not, good stories leaves with an open-ended ending. Whether it be truly an ending up for speculation, or it be a happily-ever-after, there is room left for the audience's imagination to work with. However, Mushoku Tensei and a few other masterpieces tells 100% of the story, leaving the audience wanting for more but yet knowing that there's nothing left. To me, nothing screams "god-tier" more than a story that leaves you with that feeling of a void inside you.
When a story I've followed for years comes to an end, it's like someone I knew passed away. I am left empty, knowing that their life has ended while mine moves on, meaning they can no longer accompany me into the future. Yet I am not sadden, because I knew they lived a long and fulfilling life. It was this way when Mushoku Tensei ended, it was this way for Horimiya, it was this way for Code Geass, and EVA, and Attack on Titan, and many other shows that I've followed for years and years. But it hits especially hard for those shows who's main character ends up passing away, because with their death, the story comes to a complete end, leaving no room for imagination. That's when the feeling of emptiness in my heart becomes so strong that I sometimes loose sleep.
Of all of them that had left me with a void, Mushoku Tensei made the biggest one. Because "living a long and fulfilling life" no longer stays just a metaphor, but had became a reality in Redues's world. a beautiful arc about redemption and fulfillment that came to a full close. We can say our goodbyes, but there's no need to tell him to rest in peace, because as we saw in the final chapter, he already has.

those, the main problem of this anime (like all similar ones) is the author's sclerosis. The authors of the plot forgot that Rudy is only outwardly a teenage boy. In fact, this man was already more than fifty years old at the time of entering the Academy! And in this context, his actions and behavior look extremely stupid.

Well in a sense they did get very close before Paul dies. Rudeus moves past it with the help of an old friend but hitogami says it could have been avoided, and up until the Roxy incident hitogami hadn't lied, so Paul's death was avoidable, but in the end, Paul's death did contribute to his growth

He gets a 2.5 meter tall mech suit with a Gatling Gun firing 10 full power Rock Bullets per second, or a shotgun firing 10 Rock Bullets at the same time. It also has a shield and a special sword attached to it that actually gets sharper when striking stronger armor.
He also gets a black magic armor suit that he can wear at all times that makes him as physically tough as a Saint Rank Swordsman.
Finally, he also has a supped up version of the original mech suit that is 3 meters tall, is significantly stronger, has greater ability, and has both the shotgun and Gatling Gun installed at the same time.
The only downside to these magic armor mechs is that they drain his mana very fast. The MKI can only be used for one fight against a strong enemy before his mana is totally exhausted, which is normally impossible for him to use up. The MKII that he wears under the robe can be worn at all times, but it would still drain a normal person almost instantly. Finally, the MK0, the final version we see him use, has twice the mana drain of the MKI, but amplifies his abilities many fold, making it only usable for very short, high intensity battles.

All these event has started after Rudy made Roxy his second wife. In those "original" events Roxy was baited by some creature(not without Hitogami help) and felt ill with uncured disease.Rudeus decided to go on Demon continent to find a cure but Roxy died(
Because of all the events that followed, Rudius went from being a good protagonist to the last scum who didn't shy away from gratuitous murder and even rape. As a result, his wife left him(or died, I don't remember) and all his friends turned their backs on him. So yes, he lost everything.
