@@ahmad_2027 it is not really noticeable yet, but the way Aisha was raised was essentially to make sure that she felt inferior and worthless compared to Rudeus. It just gets worse and worse throughout the novel, and the author just treats it like it is okay. Spoilers for deleted chapters at the very end of the novel: It got so bad that some chapters were deleted because Aisha was too messed up toward the end, ended up having a child with Rudeus's son and somehow Aisha got blamed for it and when everything reached a climax, her mother tried to kill her. After that, Rudeus somehow decides to separate her from her son, giving her none of the help she needs and possibly ruining her child's life permanently, and Lilia gets off without even so much as a reprimand.

In my eyes, she just tried what she thinks is the best she can do, and fucked it u, and she is also a very broken person, not really an excuse for her, Aisha deserved better, but i hope you know what i mean. There is no doubt in my mind that Lilia does love Aisha, but Lilia is so broken the way she tried to manifest it is warped as well. Butttt, i also don't know the full context, i will wait until i finish this story and i will form my own thoughts when that happens. But with what i know from spoilers and explanations by various comments, i don't feel much contempt towards Lilia.

@@Jdogrey1 I didn't get the sense that its right infact i already knew before Aisha was born that its fucked up she is a genius in the story thats twisted because of her mother and family treating her as inferior where as Rudeus doesnt I didnt get the sense that the author is trying to say anything is good when any normal person who reads the story can clearly recognize the fucked up parts as wrong People make this same argument about slavery in the series that just because Rudeus isnt a heroic idiot that obliterates a morally wrong institution putting his whole family in danger that its trying to say its okay Along with other things where if a character does a morally wrong thing they should have consequences to point out its wrong and harmful if not it means the author is saying its okay

All the seasons have film grain so don't know about pixelated, but there's definitely a slight drop in quality in most images in the latter half and much less "dynamic" movements in the characters.

@@Krowsn i did read the light novel and well the plot is actually going somewhere like rematch between rudy and ornsted, eventually later in the story (SPOILER) he meets up with older Eris and marries her as his 3rd wife, then he proceeds to have foursome with all of em after a won battle and have 2 kids with every wife so, yeah thats what let me down so much, it just seems so weird being married to his cousin, teacher and childhood friend

Cut out him being isekaied, he would just be another cookie cutter, power fantasy, Mary Sue, self insert character. It's completely fine to dislike Rudy as a human, but as a character he's the one of, if not even the best in the series. If you get disturbed by the themes being explored just don't watch it 🤷♂️

That aspect just came off as weird. Nonetheless its an amazing show I cant emphasize enough on how much I enjoyed this anime compared to some other shounens like jjk
