The new 2021 Kahr CW 380
It's jam-proof they refinish the inside of the gun better so it doesn't jam up anymore they had too many complaints about it so they finally did something before the new ones came out they also come with a front night sight now and an extra magazine which is a seven shot which sort of a pinky grip on it it helps a lot and the six shot mag is flat but it's a small gun and you could just wrap your pinky around it it's no big deal on a 380 caliber I think it's a great little gun for a backup or just to carry in your pocket without anybody seeing you carrying a large gun I get this video five stars
    ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐💯👍❤️

Where’d you get this information from? I just bought one last week so genuinely curious. Mine did come with front night sight and polished feed ramp. Haven’t shot it yet though

Nice review. I have a CW380 and am really pleased with my purchase. So far I have not had any issues. I did find myself riding the slide stop a couple of times so that's something I need to work on.

johnnypar91 thanks, yeah that large slide stop is nice when you need it but easy to disengage without knowing it

I had a karh p380. I had nothing but problems with it past the break in period. Failure to feed issues constantly. It did a little better with round tip lead rounds but still jammed up a lot. But most people want a defense round while carrying a 380.
I got the pm9. This gun has run all sorts of ammo defense and regular rounds. Over 5000 rounds never one malfunction.
What I have noticed is the 9mm round is pointy and sits higher up on the feeding ramp.
The pm 9 came out first then the 380.
It seams they took the 9mm model and made the 380 model without considering adjustment necessary to make the 380 reliable like the 9.
The shape of the 380 is more round and makes it sit lower on the feeding ramp.
They need to adjust the design so the round points slightly more vertically and sits higher up on the feeds ramp.
It’s a shame because it has such a great potential to be a great fun.

Good video slim-cowboy!! I own two Kahr p380s ( the higher end polymer series pistols by Kahr) along with various caliber Glocks, 2 CZs a Ruger lcr 357 and Kimber K6 357 and finally the all steel Kahr K9 and Mk9. I know what you mean about all steel guns...buttttttt....as a retired 27 police veteran I have transitioned to the 380 for the convenience of size and weight. This Kahr P380 is fast becoming my favorite gun I’ve ever carried. Today’s 380 ammo is no joke my friend and will kill. The build quality of the P380 along with accuracy is fantastic!! The CW series is the budget line that Kahr offers but is a great buy for the money and is the same mechanically.
The Pseries gives you a Walther nickel plated polygonal barrel, lightning cuts on the slide, dove tail sights on front and rear and a nicely machined thumb slide release. With a plus one extended magazine it feels great in the hand. Add on a Hogue Handall beaver tail slip on rubber grip and it’s awesome!! The Glock 42 is is my second choice for 380...again, good build quality and accuracy and extremely ergonomic with the Hogue Handall beaver tail rubber slip on grip and +2 mag extension. Anyway-good job!!

Rene Rodriguez thanks i've always had a fondness for 380 ACP specially when it comes to pocket guns and back ups and you can't beat the size of those little kahrs

I have a G 42 with a Houge grip and I love it. I'm thinking about getting a CW 380 and was wondering about how hard is it to rack the slide and the recoil and muzzle flip?

      Progressive Gun Owner
I have the Kahr P380 (just the more pricey version). The slide is not intended to rack like a Glock. Instead the manual suggests that you use the thumb slide release to load the first round. You must realize that this gun has tighter tolerances than most pocket pistols, so definitely break it in with a couple hundred rounds. Hornady ftx and round nose fmj should shoot flawlessly from the start with no break in period. My opinion, the glock 42 and p380/cw380 are the best tactical small 380s on the market and have the best trigger actions by far.

The P380 has a lifetime warranty, the CW380 only a year...another big difference.

Good review. Just 2 questions how hard is the slide to rack and how is the recoil and muzzle flip? Thanks

Progressive Gun Owner because it's only 380 recoil isn't terrible I found it easier to rack than something like an LCP because there's a little more to grab on to because of the slide serrations but it can still be a little stiff given how small the gun is
