I bought mine earlier in the year, then saw your video during the CA waiting period. When I went to pick the gun up I looked it over for all the issues that you had. Fortunately, there were not any. I have put 42 rounds through it without issues. Cleaned it and occasionally carry it, with confidence. Thank you for the video. Can I assume that Kimber took care of your issues? Any further thoughts on the gun?

I’ve owned mine for roughly 16 years? It just eats crappy bulk pack ammo that chokes more expensive pistols. It’s the pistol that I use to train new shooters on. I normally start a range session with 6 magazines out of it. I really like mine and have zero complaints! I’ll be purchasing the “long” slide version with 4.5” barrel soon. I owned the Walther P22 first generation, it never ran cheap bulk pack ammo. It only ran mini mags and thunderbolts. Cheers!

1) you must be using the cheapest uncle mike holster on the market, I have the Sidekick Ambidextrous Hip Holsters and it can be carried through your belt on the outside, which even in a tight-fitting 'baseball' type shirt no one in my family could tell I was packing till I lifted both arms straight into the air, which reveled a small portion of the holster due to my shirt raising on me. Oh, and this with an H&K USP .45 which is no baby of a firearm. 2) You completely ignore they are also designed to tuck inside your waist, which creates even a smaller profile if the profile of the firearm is your main concern while out and about. Leaving that little tid bit out of your rant just comes across as dishonest and makes your review/rant come across as extremly biased. Granted, a custom-made leather holster that fits a particular firearm will likely always be of a higher quality, to say these are total trash is just laughable on its face. It may not be the crème de la crème of sidearm holsters, but they're hardly the garbage you paint the entire line with, whilst using the cheapest one you could find.

I had a toy one of these when I was a kid that I believe came with a gi Joe toy. It was super cool. You could take the gun out, take the mag out and the trigger on the briefcase worked! Lol.

Highly impractical? I offer a scenario: a courier who carries highly valuable objects in a briefcase, chained to his wrist to prevent theft. That draws the wrong eyes, so walking slightly behind him is another man with an inconspicuous briefcase, just in case someone or some people decide they want to take the first case at gunpoint.
