I don't know where I'd be without this band.. Such an influence in who I've become as a man. I've now met Pete twice, and this last time I shook his hand, and talked to him for about 10 minutes, telling him what his music means to me.. He took the time of day to care about what I said and it meant very much to me. Gave the man a hug and he asked me what I wanted to hear during the show, so I told him "Holy shit, bro.. So many songs running through my head.. This'll be the sixth time seeing you guys and I still have yet to hear Grab Thy Hand." And he replied with "Ohhhhhhh, that's a good one.. I might just do that for yea." During the encore, he bent down to me in the pit, and put his hand to his ear and said "What did you wanna hear again, Jay?" (He remembered my name! Lol) and I screamed "Grab thy hand!" and he said "This dude wants us to play Grab thy hand, can we do that for him? Here you go, buddy!" and began to play it. I'm such a lucky guy and I will always be so grateful for this band.

Ok always like chevelle sound and style, this past sunday, june 15 had another seizure ( doesnt happen often but from my brain surgery). Having a seizure, which i feel bad for wife, kids, family and friends, is like a reboot of my brain like a computer. I got 1000+ songs on my phone on shuffle and thurseday well enough alone comes on. When I was 21, I sat on my Girlfriends bed, after years of being together and her dealing with me never seeing her, and always chasing my next fix. I always would accuse her of not truly loving me and all of this other stuff, because I had my own issues that made me insecure. She had dealt with my addiction for so long. Finally she sat me down with her on her bed, and grabbed my hand and told me how much she loved this song and it made her think of me. I’m not with her anymore. But I can never listen to this song the same way again.

Better believe this The Song You Heard before getting your ass kicked in WWE Smackdown Vs Raw 2008 😭😭 definitely had to listen to this before the match 💯
The song that got me into Chevelle off the main menu of Smackdown Vs Raw 2008. The first song I fell in love with. What an amazing insane vocal singer Pete and the band itself.
I am so in love with Pete... Good grief, what talent... All three but gosh he blows me away. His voice is in my soul with this music and just all of it.. Love CHEVELLE! ♥️
This bad are so good they just have such an energy when performing especially the lead singer and there songs have so much meaning one of those bands you can really relate to :)
Nothing can come close to the sound of 2000’s Rock, we had so many great bands back then. I grew up during that era and experienced it first hand, first ever concert I went to was, ill Niño with special guest 40 Below Summer and Flaw around 2003. Had a chance to see Chevelle live too! Been a fan of these guys since Point #1.

Lyrics:
[Intro]
SICK!
[Verse 1]
Walk down the realm
Hint to no one that this
Generic bond exists
Evil shows another side
[Pre-Chorus]
And like before, makes no sense
Never coming
Always leaving right before
Hooked on substance
Digging deeper
Can't reveal
[Chorus]
Why we leave well enough alone
Never thought about the shame
SICK!
[Verse 2]
So fed up
What's with the sins?
Observe and leave instead
This pity wagon
Penetrates my skin so sensitive
Makes me sick
[Pre-Chorus]
[Chorus]
[Bridge]
(Pete vocalizing...)
The old and the aged
Pulled and never knew what hit
And the old and the aged
Rolled and never knew what hit
[Pre-Chorus]
[Chorus (x2)]
[Outro]
We leave... (x2)

They could re-release a lot of their songs right now and probably blow up bigger
This is so good but you must hear “The Wave” or “Whispering Wolf” by SLT 🤘🔥🐺
After 13 years, finally I found the best song of SVR 2008 >:'D
What took you so long
Back then when soundtracks of games were awesome.
Good memories
Chevelle is awesome. A perfect carry over from the 90s into a new era. I wish more bands could have carried it the way they did.
December 2024, this song reminds me of my childhood
This track really had me enjoying smackdown vs raw 2008 on both my ps3 and psp🔥
This is the jam but you must hear “Glory” by SLT 🤘🎶🎧
My absolute favorite song from Chevelle. It's just fantastic. I'd give anything to see them play this live...
10 years later still listening I love this band.....................2019

This album was way ahead of its time. I use to have this record on repeat in my teens and I am now 30 and the album is still a banger.
I've always loved his voice and his scream
Chevelle itself brought me here

Imo this is the best Chevelle song
For me it's a toss up between this & Send the pain below.
2:17 the vocals still haunt
Better believe this The Song You Heard before getting your ass kicked in WWE Smackdown Vs Raw 2008 😭😭 definitely had to listen to this before the match 💯
People who said something else other than Chevelle brought them here should leave well enough alone.
I'm here cause I'm morally conflicted atm, the thing is they found chevelle so at least there's more fans
I will forever love this song bc it brings bk memories when I was a kid and playing the ps2
Gives me chills
The song that got me into Chevelle off the main menu of Smackdown Vs Raw 2008. The first song I fell in love with. What an amazing insane vocal singer Pete and the band itself.
I am so in love with Pete... Good grief, what talent... All three but gosh he blows me away. His voice is in my soul with this music and just all of it.. Love CHEVELLE! ♥️
This bad are so good they just have such an energy when performing especially the lead singer and there songs have so much meaning one of those bands you can really relate to :)
SVR 2008 😢 so much memories make me emotional 😭
Got me through some tough times
Nothing can come close to the sound of 2000’s Rock, we had so many great bands back then. I grew up during that era and experienced it first hand, first ever concert I went to was, ill Niño with special guest 40 Below Summer and Flaw around 2003. Had a chance to see Chevelle live too!
Been a fan of these guys since Point #1.
Flaw is such a great band too
Listening to this song while playing as Edge against CM Punk in Smackdown vs Raw 2008 is life
I love this band they have there own style
OMG BACK TO THE OLD PS2 SVR 2008 days kinda miss it in a sense
Banging the song's of Chevelle, in 2019! Leave well enough ALONE! Your Best, may never be enough!🤙😀👋 I WILL CARRY ON. I WILL OVERCOME THE APPROPRIATE VOID. "FATHER GOD, THERE'S ALWAYS ROOM, FOR YOU, WHEN I WAS BAPTIZED 4-5 YEARS AGO. I will never forget that I need you. The many nuances that you were able to help Chemist's make treatable ailments of another's life. All glory is in Jesus's name! I give you Thank's
Almost 25 years later, and I still remem listening to this song while selecting superstars on SVR2008.
I love Chevelle, from Argentina South America
still cant forget my fav song on ps2 wwe 2008 game🥲
This is so good but you must hear “Whispering Wolf” or “The Wave” by SLT 🤘🌊🐺🎸🎧
Chevelle is one of the best bands...ever. I've always loved their lyrics...none of this, "It's all got to rhyme" crap...there is meaning to their lyrics, stimulates thought.
Man what an awesome song
