Really great video. It is as thorough as I have ever seen on my most beloved pair of headphones. Glad I found a new audio channel to subscribe. I wear these for 8 to 9 hours per day during work and then I listen to music on them as well. You get used to the fatigue and the slight clamp, it is not bad at all. I have not done the mod. The microphone is actually decent and I am heard on Zoom calls without any issues. I am not an audiophile, but these taught me what soundstage and imaging is when it comes to audio. They do have a cheap build to them and I have broken two of them. They will break over time at the midway point of the slider. Treat them with some care. But, when I do break them, I mail them back to Koss along with a check for $9.00 and they stand by their lifetime warranty and send out an entirely brand new pair. You wish there was one company in every industry that produced incredible quality for an incredibly low price. When they go on sale for $20, you almost feel like you stole them. If you are looking for quality audio and something you can play around with as you want to build or start a passion for HiFi, these are as good as it gets. There are some who like the KSC75, KPH40's and the Porta Pro's better, it just depends on your comfortability and how you like your music to sound.
What an amazing review. I just ordered mine, also with big pads for comfort. I know I cant go wrong with these headphone combination, and I will use it with iPhone with adapter so I can also answer calls, Thank you for in depth review
The mod is a kph30i sound killer. It might be comfortable, but the pads kill the sound. You have to increase the sound crazy loud and it does put extra strain on the plastic bands if using G pads. Staging is enhanced a bit but overall richness is lost. Also this mod sounds really bad on the kph30i clears with very high shouty treble. On the non clears it was just ok . I love the clears as it is without any mod and sounds very good.
I love my clears also, I read a review that said don’t do the mod on the clears, so I never did, how the heck can these sound so good for the price, I demand they raise it 😜
@@MasterMarslanderI believe it did interfere with mid and upper treble yes, also it had no effect on the impressive sound stage the clears already have. If I can find the Reddit discussion I’ll post for you.
Yeah, you basically sacrifice a bit of intimacy in exchange for comfort and soundstage. If you can get a good seal though it should keep more to itself.
these are the most accurate sounding headphones I’ve ever tried.
They sound like everything is perfectly balanced.

Thanks for bringing this gem to my attention. I saw the video of Lady Maslander listening to them today and now I want to get these with the mod!
Excellent! You should check out the KPH40 as well for comparison. Have a video on them too.
Bullsh... not a gem, its crap compared to the Porta Pro..
This is really great! Love the transitions. The whole video is very slick, and as always your review is very great to hear.
Thank you!! That's so nice to hear. Just trying new things.
❤🔥

Thank you! I hope you enjoy them. Wonderful little headphones.
Unfortunately, the remote button of mine isn't working

Can't go wrong with them stock.

@@adrianmorrish8494 That's odd to me. What is the reasoning behind avoiding the grado mod with the clears? Is it a brittleness thing?

I tried those pads. You lose volume and bass. And the detail is less prominent.

how is the audio leak?
They are by no means isolating, so there will be audio leak. The grado pads do help with that, though.
bought them to compare to the brilliant Porta Pro..............poorly made...fragile and didnt sound as good . Sent them back
Yeah, same here, crap. Have 3 PP, they rock, who is this guy, dont know shit..
