Gave a thumbs up for the effort. I get that I'm not an audiophile, but I find this headphone to be decent and with good sound. I like to be aware of my surroundings, so I real like them, and the quality of sound for music is good IMHO. You should try updating the firmware. Best regards

If I stream music and go from, for instance, a 44.1 track to a 192 track and back again, does the Wandla instantly latch on? This was a problem when I demo’d the Holo Spring 3 - it always missed a beat. Same as my Arcam AVR. No such problems with the Chord Qutest which latches on really fast. Thanks.

I ALMOST pulled the trigger on these when they were finally released. I held back because my ZMF Bokehs were coming in very soon and I wanted to enjoy my honeymoon period with them. I'm looking forward to hearing more about these though. I hope you enjoy them!

I can't help but think those specs (32ohm and 118dB/Vrms) are wild for a headphone, especially when they're intended to be used with the balanced cable. Looking forward to the review to see how they perform - I imagine you wouldn't be able to turn up the volume very far on most devices before it's too loud.

I could see this being someone's endgame amp. Considering what people say about it, and what you just tested with 2xmono setup, I'm really thinking about getting this to, once and for all, stop this stupid part of my brain that wants to connect speaker amps to my headphones XD

Are these headphones suitable for glasses wearers?

Seems like replies dont work here... I've tried replying on the type of earbuds that you should look into it twice already and it doesn't work... I've tried about a dozen earbuds from 20$ to 250$, my pick would be the Yincrow RW-3000, it has clear vocals and great bass/subass. Moreover, there's a community tier list on Hifi Guides called Earbuds best of recs that could be interesting to look at. Also ImAWSMDanny youtube channel that has great reviews on flathead earbuds!

ok i am sold. i probably dont need to bother to ask, but how does this compare to the sennheiser 800S? similar price except the 800 can actually get to me by tomorrow. which is an issue for me, as i am completely tired of my cheapo stuff and i have some disposable cash. you say this is even better than some $60K headphones, i didnt know such a thing existed. so again i probably dont need to bother to ask. but quick thoughts?

There’s the ones coming from established brands such as Dunu or Moondrop or others made by DIYers such as Rikubuds or TGXears. Some even say that they rival HD800s and other open back flagships!

Hello. Congrats on the achievement. Id like to see more headphone reviews in here, you are really good at them. Id love to see your take on the new Meze Alba IEM and on the Meze 109 Pro. Judging by the fact that they distributed Meze Albas to reviewers like candy, I think Meze Audio will be pretty easy to get a hold of. One more thing, I think you tried the Meze 109 Pro at a show and said if I remember correctly that they have louder bass the 99 Classics, and I think the reason why you perceived them like that is because you may have listened to them on a tube amp. If you compare frequency responses the bass on the 109 Pros is nowhere near as loud as on the 99 Classics. Have a nice day!

I love the KSC75s, but I can't stand the hooks. I bought a headband for them on eBay, and now I use them a lot, especially in the summer when bigger headphones get too sweaty. I do hear a bit of stridency in the upper midrange, though. So I bought some KPH40s because they are supposed to be more mellow. I do not like the KPH40 at all, not unless I use the EQ preset for them on the Qudelix 5K. I have read that the KPH40 uses the same driver as the portapro. The KPH40 driver is definitely not the same as the KSC75, if you take the foam off, you can see the KSC75 diaphragm has a metallic coating (Koss say titanium) and the KPH40 does not. The headband does make a difference to the sound. I put the KSC75 in the KPH40 headband, it holds the drivers flat to the side of my head, (the eBay headband retains the same angle as the hooks), and the sound became narrower and more full-bodied. I just bought a second pair of KSC75s, and a 'portapro headband' from ali express. The portapro headband is the most bassy, the angle and pressure is the same as the KPH40, but I think it must be reflecting more sound back to you, creating a semi-closed-back effect. I prefer the eBay headband pair for gaming and the portapro headband pair for some types of music.

Ironically I sold my Eikons for a new camera lens a couple years ago and I miss that sweet, sweet sound of ZMF headphones. I don't follow new headphone/iem stuff like I used to but I thought I'd see what was out there since I'm moving and setting up a music listening room in my new house. I'm not into that "universe is telling me something" mumbo jumbo but I feel like the universe is trying to tell me something.

D7000 would be great, not a lot of reviews on this but supposedly it is weird flagship because it has a focus on bass!

HIFI shops are better than CanJams and the like, because often the stores are largely empty and you can demo stuff like you would at home, especially mon-fri. Dangerous for the wallet though, I suggest leaving your wallet at home the first day.🤣
