Sorry buddy but your reading the LED display incorrect, 1-4 are auto modes built into the charger, nothing to do with the current charge level of your battery, it's basically the charger putting your battery through some internal checks. Also as mentioned you connected it all up wrong, RED first, then BLACK then power it up !
Yeap I leave in NY and I have the same battery tender on the MK5 its a life saver car hasn’t been moved 7 weeks already but it keeps the battery charge
Thanks for the video. Should I unplug it when it's fully charged? or can I just keep plug it in for months? I never drive my Z4 during the winter here in Canada Thanks!
So if its full do you disconnect it or leave it on for as long as you dont use the car? Also do you advise or do connected everyday i stay in a winter city its cold.. Should i connect it every time i get home or maybe do it every everytine i wont be using the car more then how many days you think 2,3 days?
OMG be very careful, you're doing it wrong - FIRST the red clamp, THEN the black clamp and ONLY THEN connect the charger to the mains !!! (check the manual, i'm not kidding)

Cant even connect leads correctly never mind understands what the lights mean should be kept away from vehicles. Once it gets to full it can recondition the battery cutting power off and adding back on as required. Some cars have a battery control module that discharges the battery and the charger tops it off again. It may be on 7 but if you undo a lead and reconnect it will go straight back down to 3 or 4 as that is 12.4 -12.6v FULL CHARGE. This guy is a fool
Thanks for sharing this with us! Planning to get one for myself. Happy Holidays bro
Happy holidays bro! Get yourself one! 👍
Should've actually put it on the AGM setting.
3:35 Positive terminal first then negative terminal.
I like breaking the rules lol

You bought a charger that can charge AGM batteries, but you forgot to set it to AGM mode :(

Plus he mentioned it was an AGM battery but didn't set it to AGM mode on the charger.

You can keep it plugged in
I was just thinking about this yesterday
Don’t waste last minute like I did 😅
Battery tender FTW
✌️
*CTEK FTW
So this can be used instead of buying a new battery?
It’s meant to keep your battery from dying so you don’t have to replace it
Do the Regen mode, it will put the battery back to brand new.

Those glasses are gangster haha
LOL I’m starting my to wear glasses again instead of contacts. Going for a new look 😂
I don't think you enabled AGM mode, which uses a higher charge voltage.
Yeap, use AGM mode on the Supra.
Yupp lol I totally changed it the next day 😂 but video was filmed already haha
I use the same one... good investment
I know the hurt, my truck has two AGM and it was a costly Thanksgiving. LOL

Was literally dealing with this issue with the r8 just last week 🙄
I’m surprised you don’t have at least 3 of them 😂
Awesome video! Anti Gravity battery coming soon yeah?!
Hehe one day!
OMG be very careful, you're doing it wrong - FIRST the red clamp, THEN the black clamp and ONLY THEN connect the charger to the mains !!! (check the manual, i'm not kidding)
I got the attachment so I can plug it into the cigarette outlet instead of connecting to the battery
