Bro I missed your videos hopefully we'll be watching more of them. I live 1 hour west of Chicago and it's getting cold here now! I'm storing my 300 SRT in winter months and this weekend I'm definitely hooking up my battery tender thank you for the reminder and as always excellent video
If i want to install this on my 2015 charger at my battery location, the trunk. Is alright to hook this up directly to the neg terminal, or should I use a ground point.
I don’t have a video on the cover but here is the link: www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0BCYJDRDS?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title The pros are it looks really good and keeps light dust and debris off the car while its parked in the garage. The cons are its very thin so can really only be used for indoor use. Its very soft and stretchy.
Do you really need this if you mostly drive it on the weekends? I thought people used these if they store the car for the winter or longer extended periods. My 23 scat pack charger has a battery saver mode/ship mode that I can access through the dash. That's what I've been using. Drive mostly on the weekends
Ive never heard of battery saver mode but Im going to see if mine has it. That’s a great easter egg if so! Ive just always used maintainers to keep the battery conditioned. Plus sometimes a week of not driving turns into two or three. For me any way. Lol
@@moparlifescatpack yes my 2023 has it. You scroll through dash options where the battery info , it will tell you to push/hold ok to enter battery saver mode next screen will tell you to push ok to activate it, it will count down 10 seconds or so and vehicle will be in battery saver mode until you push to start the vehicle again. This disables electrical things on the vehicle. Remote start will not work, the keyless entry won't work. You will have to manually lock and unlock the vehicle until you take it out of battery saver mode/ship mode. Let me know if you have it

Thanks for the great feedback! Im embarrassed I didn’t hook it up when I went on vacation. Came back to a dead battery 🤦🏻♂️

I had the one on my Corvette hooked up directly to the battery on both pos and neg terminals and never seemed to have had an issue.
Nice video! Thanks! Mopar!
Glad you liked it!
