Very clear explanation! Question: Is gameplay really Player A: one action, Player B: one action, and repeat? Sounds like an incredibly slow game. I am speaking with zero playing experience but don't we then have to track the AP's of every unit on the board? Or do the other units wait patiently, smoking cigarettes, writing letters home, etc., while the active units move? Moving perhaps across their field of fire, etc.?
have you completed a review on the solo expansion? I bought this for Christmas only to find that having found that version one of CoH wasn't compatible.
Oh man! That's a rough one! Yeah, sorry...you need the 2nd edition of AtB for the solo exp. No, I'm ashamed to say I haven't even gotten the shrink of the solo exp yet. Just been too busy with other games. Will soon though :)
Thanks for the review I have one basic question, if my unit is hit and I want to rally, and lets say I have 7 APs, i then spend 5 APs to rally, if I failed to rally, do I lose the 5 APs? Appreciate ur response
Howdy BGW:) It's been awhile since this was on my table, but I'm pretty sure you lose the 5 AP for a failed rally. You're paying the 5 AP for the ATTEMPT itself, not the result. Opportunity actions or an appropriate command action card could also be used to attempt a rally. Thanks for watching :)
SingleHandedWarfare Thanks for your replay, I bought conflict of heroes the second edition and a new copy of storms of steel after I watched your videos, interesting game mechanic, still luck is a great factor in this game, but I think you can enhance your luck with strategy, I am still reading the rule book anyway. have a nice day.
