I have just started watching your videos. I have subscribed and am looking forward to many more in the future. Great job, and I have learned a lot about this game which I have just purchased. Until next time - thank you very much. Keep them coming. Been gaming for 50 years, and your never to old to learn.

Great! We have also recently made a review of this gem on our channel. One of those games, that you return with pleasure from time to time!

Derek- Great review. How soon before you take a crack at a video for Eastern Front: Solo Expansion for AtB?

Thank you for the video! I've been wanting to see more coverage of this edition from another solo gamer. I think I'll wait for your thoughts on the upcoming expansion before picking it up.
This is almost completely unrelated, but have you had a chance to play Navajo Wars, by chance? I'd love to hear your thoughts on that one, too.

Howdy, Brandon:) Glad you enjoyed it! Yes, as brilliant as this game is, the base game has quite a bit of hidden info meant to be kept secret from an opponent. While still enjoyable solo, you really need two to get the full experience of it. I'm going to drop everything and get on that solo expansion the moment it's in my mitts.
Navajo Wars has been on my radar for awhile, but it might be some time before I get to it. I have an ever growing stack of games calling out for my attention! May we all have such problems:)

Have you tried this compared to Combat commander vs Fighting formations?

So how high is the replayability of this game?

blueonblack83 I'd say replayability is very good. Plenty of scenarios from simple to more complex. Even more once the solo expansion comes out.

I think I'll buy this. The components looks really high quality.

blueonblack83 Component quality is some of the best you'll find for a wargame, and the maps are GORGEOUS.
