Damn G good stuff. I have that exact same mixer. I've been contemplating upgrading to the rane 57 mk2. but after seeing that midi pad, I think I'll go with that set up. I like it.
The 57 and the 707 are both really great (and low cost) mixers! The Akai pads do their job, but i think i'll upgrade to a Pioneer SP-1 soon, because the layout of the Akai is not really functional for left/right deck use
Hey man, I just recently purchased DJM-707 after checking out your video! Such a inspiration. Found out this mixer doesn't have any usb port. How did you load music from the computer to the mixer? How can I connect my mixer with computer? Any tips regards of DJM-707 will be so much help for me to start scratching/ real djing. Keep doin what your doin!
Alex Shin hey Alex! If a mixer doesn't have a built in sound card, like the 707, you'll need an external one. I personally use the Rane SL-3. You can connect this soundcard to any mixer and laptop to use it with Serato. Check out www.serato.com there's enough documentation there to get you started. Enjoy your 707, it's a beast mixer!
In this movie i used a regular laptop stand (which is way too big) www.bax-shop.nl/laptop-stand/innox-iva05-laptop-tabletop-stand I recently switched to this stand which i can def recommend: www.bax-shop.nl/laptop-stand/reloop-modular-stand-voor-neon?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI58atiIv_1AIVLCrTCh1ATg5PEAkYAiABEgJOp_D_BwE This also fits the Pioneer SP1!

Oh I see. So I'm probably better off getting the novation Dicer.
Dicers are always a good purchase! :)
What remix of No Diggity is that?

Nice! where did you get your mixer custom painted?
It's silk screen printed by a local company. Those company's print on any metal surfaces, and it's very durable.
Hi, I'm about to buy that mixer, I'd like to know how is the curve fit to scratch, thanks
It's perfect! The crossfader is fully adjustable to your needs
Great Mix !

MrFab189 Just a regular transformer scratch, with an improvised pattern!
have had the 707 for years it's really underated. That being said I am checking ebay for a 909
nice work.
My OCD was killing me, the right turntable was up slightly and not aligned.
I might re-do this video some day, but with the right turntable 2 millimeters lower :) I feel your pain
Thank you! Much appreciated haha
