LOL the bumper sticker sold me. Skar is amazing! They have amazing support as well ( And yes, I agree. Music is life for those of us who are used and abused and then forgotten about. A quality system can bring a tear to your eye as well as fill a void)
Edit: Kinda looks like where I live TBH lol

I feel you bro I love my system it's my therapy against the people in my life I wanted to let you know I have a 19 Camry and started out with the skar sdr 12's package with the amp and box anyway currently running a 15" incriminator audio Tyrant rated for 5K and a deafbonce AAK 6k with the 240 amp alt external voltage control module running to a 29AH SCIB bank major upgrade from the stock charging system and the sdrs just keep going bro one piece at a time do your research and depending on what you want to do if you are going to stay with that setup for a while and run the stock alternator Dropping Hz car audio has the ioxus ultra cap for 99$ used right now and I have one and used it for over a year and I promise if you are running 3k RMS and under it will make a major difference and make your subs hit so much harder and helps with gas mileage and takes the strain off your stock alternator and battery prolonging the life of both and your car

Oh yeah, I know for sure I ain't pushing these at all. I bet you I can only play them at 65% max power with my stick 150Amp Alt. Don't even have an extra battery looool. But that time will come. I am poor as fuck right now

I have the same prefab and EVL 12 combo wired down to 1ohm on a Skar RP 3500. Upgraded 250 Amp alt, and a second AGM battery. OFC power and ground wiring. They smash! I recently inverted the subs (don't recommend) for cooling purposes. Today I'm actually reversing the inversion and then tuning my amp with an oscilloscope. All for the same reason you described. They say it'll get better...But all I've noticed is my system getting louder, lol.

Your car battery can withstand 8000 watts so if you have 5000 watt sub...then your good. I have 1600watts 800rms and it does well. Once you see drain when bumping it...then you need to upgrade a agm battery or get a second one. For those 10,000 or 20,000 watt sysstems.

I will say scar subs in the affordable dont lock better made than my 800 watt crunch subs by maxxsonics. Thin wires and cheaper stuff to keep them affordable. I do wanna get one 1000 watt rms sub in a high quality box soon. That will blow my 2 12s away

Your stock alternator only produces 150 to 180 amps tops there for theres no way your giving them no more than 1500 watts becaus every 1000 watts pulls 100 amps
