- Hi guys! Today I'm going to do a second Sims 2 video since the "all deaths" one. This is The Sims 2 Apartment Life All Witch Spells!
Note: -The Tempus Interruptum spell also doesn't affect ghosts. When this spell is in effect, electronic appliances such as stereo or television won't work.

I can kind of see why so many people loved TS2 in comparison to 3 or 4. It looked like the creators poured so much into it.
It was the turning point of The Sims franchise.

Im so overwhelmed reading your comment, the sims 3 is more magical than sims 2, the sims 3 has more spells than sims 2 and more interesting, you can cure curses, and you can give someone curse, AND THE MOST INTERESTING PART IS WE CAN CHOOSE OUR WAND, and each wand has different strength !! and the effect when you using spell is so awesome, theres bubble,sparkles, hologram. You can also casting without wand ( with perks ). Whats wrong with peeps ? Witch in sims 2 is so boring, we can't learn all spells, you just can be a kind witch or a bad witch ( and i dont like it, cuz my sims skin will be green 😭 ). In sims 3 we can learn all spells and we can pretending be a kind witch while in the inside we actually a bad witch. Sorry for bad english

This is so amazing, This is what i love most about the sims 2, just so much to do. The Sims 3 witches were ok but i feel Sims 2 witches were the best

Spells in The Sims 2 are more op, universal and interesting. In TS3 they are abit boring and mehh (most of them). What do you think @onlyabidoang?
P.S. Just a note to the Tempus Interruptus - ghost aren't affected by it too. Electronics, such as tv and steroes, stop working either, showing that the time stop for objects as well. And it's one of my favourite spells of all time.
Yeah I agree with you. For me the spells in the sims 2 are much more interesting, especially with the alignment system, magic lots, lots of fun spells, etc. But in TS3 the most interesting part is the alchemy skill since there are tons of elixirs to make which also have amazing abilities such as cloning, changing life states, etc.
Thanks for clarifying! I actually read about it when I did some research for this video but I didn't have time to test it so I didn't include the info. I'm going to add those facts you stated into the description.
Better in the video as those caption-box things, but ok. I notice that you took the info from the wiki. Yeah, the alchemy system rocks, but I wish it was exclusive to witches brew-able. Nevertheless, it is great that in TS3 life states are less focused from being heavily steortypical, e.g. vampires run faster instead of turning into bats.
Oh yeah I forget that annotations exists lol. Yeah I'm also glad about that. They can blend in well with normal sims since their difference is not too far in TS3.

Thanks for the video! I always found evil witches technically more powerful in some ways; good witches have more utility spells (putting out fire, summoning an actually USEFUL servant and can make friends easily), but resurrecting a sim as a zombie is much easier than having to be there on the lot when a sim dies in order to save them like a good witch. Also, making a friend then casting Tabula Rasa on both them and yourself makes them a friend forever that never needs maintaining... As long as you never interact with them ever again! I had some very successful evil witches that way who only needed to worry about skills for their career!

I never played sims 2, or watched a lot of videos about it but I never knew it had more needs than sims 3 and 4

+rarity sparkle neutral spells + not so powerful good and evil spells
+rarity sparkle There were 8 needs in The Sims 1 and The Sims 2. What Comfort motive did was to prevent Sims from doing some work indefinitely; when it dropped too low, you couldn't continue to exercise or work or make stuff until rested. Eventually in The Sims 3 it was replaced with moodlets like Exhausted or Bad Night's Sleep, or overall bad mood. Environment (or Room in The Sims 1) motive scored a niceness of the room the Sim was currently in (or the outdoors). It motivated player to finish decorating rooms, to get rid of trash, cockroaches and puddles. It was replaced in The Sims 3 by the appropriate moodlets (Filthy Surroundings, Unfinished Room etc.)

Thanks. I'd forgotten all the stuff we used to be able to do with Sims 2. Makes you realize how limited Sims 4 is now. I will have to dig it up and play it again although I remember on my old computer the game would sort of lag whenever a witch would appear on a community lot bringing the rain and cockroaches with them (well, the bad witches anyway). Luckily I have a much more powerful computer now so that shouldn't be the same issue.

I'm so glad i experienced the witch in sims 2. It was fun having my sims be witches. Though i didn't get to try a lot of these other spells and i didn't have yhe neutral witch experience
wait why does an apartment expansion pack come with witches??? oh my god is this a reference to the movie rosemary's baby? theyre so much interesting in the sims 2... u can have bad witch good witch. cats. wtf.

Because they wanted to include an occult in every pack. The Sims 4 would make a Game pack that doesn't deserve the price tag

I'm really enjoying watching your videos! They're nicely put together! I want to suggest the vampires from The Sims 3 (Late Night with Supernatural) but I don't think they have that much to show off. I also love that the witches in The Sims 2 are so much fun to play with! Don't get me wrong, I like the witches in The Sims 3 but the ones in TS2 have more personality and spells that perfectly fit their alignment.

they planned to do a seperate Supernaterual Pack but they ran out of time so they had to shove it in their current project. They were going to do alot like a school themed expansion and a get to work type

Since the Sims 4 hasn't made witch pack yet, I'm having hope they brig all of these spells back including THE EVIL,GOOD,AND BAD witches cause that's really interesting and these spells and interaction are way better than sims 3!!! Great Video, I has no ideal

Fun fact, you can take the witches wands in one of the editors and place them around your home!
These spells were always so hard to get the ingredients for, thank god they changed it in ts3

The sims 2 witches had a lot more spells than the sims 3 witches. The only spells I enjoyed in the sims 3 was the reanimation spell, the witch duel, and the toadification spell

So, if your Sim is a neutral witch, does that mean they can do the neutral spells plus the good and evil spells? Or just the neutral spells?

So basically neutral witches are way overpowered
@@davidkonevky7372 not really, Neutral Witches Cannot Save others from Death, nor Reanimate them, Unless you have mods, arguably when you Unrestrict Spells to Alignment (Still takes into account cast speed though) you start to see how many spells there are potentially
