Didn't do proper research bro. Zen Go has onboard processing as well like the Apollo does. You can use it during live performance/podcasting but if you install the afx2daw tool you can use it in mixing/mastering post-processing stages. Also a more fair comparison in that price range would be the Apollo Solo. If you want to compare an Antelope to the Apollo Twin you should use the Zen Q or a Zen Tour instead that are similar in price to the Twin!

I think that the interface of UAD is not difficult. The zero latency is in only monitoring (of course it is not 0 ms either) for booth device. The recording latency depends on the set buffer and frequency values. ZenGo has DSP and FPGA own chip and processing.

I had both Antelope and UAD, the soundquality of the mic preampsi are better on the Apollo as you can hear, the plugins are better also. Good on the Zen go is, its USB powered, but bad is, everytime you start the Zen go, it connect via internet and then the mixer starts, so it takes longer. With the Zen Go I had minor soundproblems maybe twice a month in everyday use. The Apollo is more stable, but exspensive even if they didnt improve much over the years. I sold the Zen go and got a used Discrete 4 from Antelope, which is a similar to the Zen go but with much more possibilities.I had the Apollo Twin and now I have the UAD X4. Both Supports are good and helped me very well. I think the UADs are 20% better but 50% more exspensive. If you are a good^musi^cian you can work well with both.

So much misinformation on this video. Zen Go has DSP inside like Apollo, their history is based on highly accurate clocks. TBH your credibility went out the window with the Apollo having zero latency statement. UAD plugins are actually licensed by what they try to simulate, which also wasn't mentioned. Not to say Antelopes are not great, they are, but licensing makes costs go up for UAD.

You are a great video presenter...seriously, and your music rocks! Here's the thing though, you need to do some more research to vet your reviews before you release them. The Zen Go has DSP processing built in and is like using kick-ass hardware in front of your tracks. AND you failed to mention when you were picking knits about this knob and that knob and two TRS outputs vs 4 that the Apollo unit is literally TWICE as expensive as the Zen Go. World class clocking, 5 world class very high end AD/DA convertor chips THIRTY-SEVEN free plugs and built-in 'verb for 500 BUCKS.

As someone that owns the Twin Quad and the Discrete 4 Synergy Core, they're both great, but the preamps are better on the Antelopes. It's just a bit more complicated to use compared to the UA interface's. Also, no thunderbolt cable costs $10. Cheapest cable goes for $35. Great Video
went from a defunk Beringer FCA 1616 to ZEN GO and the pre were wow! Basic audio to proper near pro/studio (there not lying and as well as the DAW the sound from my system jump up a few notches CLEAN sound and I can tweek out going streaming sound too, from what ever as there 4 channels for effects; just put computer 1 and computer 2 inputs on channel 3 and 4 link in the control pannel and have some fun tweeking effects on your favourite youtube videos. Analouge to digital conversion gone from something missing/never quite right(Quality of pre's make all the difference and A/D D/A conversion is excellent). I hear tell universal may just pip the ZEN GO but who cares. If your using a budget audio interface im telling you your wasting your time you need the quality of the zen go or universal apollo twin for two reason already stated Quality and to realise it not your fault it the crap you bought and nobody slaging it off. Nobody ever told me bugget gear wont cut it in fact it an eye opener why has nobody in the industry put people of from buying bugget so called pro audio interfaces with below power speakers and headphones.
Next port of call haft to save up, fancy the Adams A7X pricey but I no Know they will compliment the zen go. saying that my Alesis M1 MK2 active monitors I had from about 2007/8 still sound great for casual listening mixing ok and I use ultrasone pro 750 (there ancient too and well burnt in and yes they do emphasis the highs but nicely and good 4 mixing base as You get the detail. the ZEN GO as soon as I plug it in,has improved my system over all sound quality across the board.
Well Pleased if not a little pissed at the industry for not being totally honest. Bugget dont cut it! there a layer of fog that gets lifted and because of the price range the antelope audio ZEN GO has open the door to the next level PS it not really possible to hear the differance throught youtube because of one of the filters and two you need to be already listening throught an apollo, zen go or RME etc but the catch is don't spend what you can't afford and fit for purpose. If it purly to listen then may be best buying a DAC only.
To finish;recording into the zen go was a wow experience as I said before; my whole system has had the fog lifted. my speakers are not great but I heard the difference strait away. No reaching with my ears/mind, its not in my mind, I have'nt imagine it.
My room not treated so I treated myself to a foam glove. At first it sounded terrible then I removed the filter and the other bit of foam called the adapter for small mikes(silly me; I did not no that was in there) then I got a fairly slightly humm boxy sound which the Ba pre does a beautiful job of soughting this out. The limit amount of vocal processors and compressors that you get in the package need a bit of experimentation. I don't play guitar so alot of the effects at present of no use to me(idea; maybe antelope will swop them hehe).
To say I am pleased is an understatement and antelope seem to have iron out most of the buggs(it has crash a couple of times the control pannel that is while getting use to it) just recieved an update to 2.5.20 but no list of improvments strange
but antelope a bit like that;they release things, it like there lack of tutorials or the old ones need updating and they don't tell you what they improved. As I said Strange but its a wicked interface for £425 squids I bought last month (September 2021) and got that deal.
    pleased as punch
Again great video oooo one other thing I never touch the controls of the Antelope Zen Go there no need everything is done from the control pannel and using a mouse.
Have a great day thank you.

The Apollo sound better, the Zen Go sound muddy and sibilant at the same time. The Zen Go is rounder but you can change the sound of the Apollo with a different Unison Pre or add the Fairchild Mkii for that round sound.
The Apollo is a best when we understand how much it can shape the sound.

good vid but for someone whos done their homework, you site nothing so im assuming alot of this is cap lmao. UA doesnt claim to have zero latency, literally just go to there website. Synergy Core is defititely a chip in Antelope interfaces that does on board DSP. And when you say it doesnt sound as good are you talking about recording or what? L

Bro is you could talk less between the two examples🤦🏽‍♂️ you literally ruined the listening test. You talked way too much every time👎🏽
But from what I can hear, the Antelope has more sibilance which isn’t a good things. I think people believe brighter is better, it’s not. Clean and smooth is better. You can add saturation and color to a clean signal.
