Okay it’s not fair…you have the gifted deep voice of a hypnotist! And an elegant accent to boot! Lol. I’m not easily hypnotized but your voice is just so naturally hypnotizing!
The main question for me is just what percentage of the population are susceptible enough to be put in to trance with these spoken inductions, inductions which are used by stage hypnotists, and which often fail spectacularly in that environment.
I hope i will be able to get an answer, i was wondering if it is possible to get rid of anger issues via using trance/hypnosis, how well would that work?
I've always thought that a subject is brought at least halfway in before the formal induction begins. As they say, all hypnosis is self hypnosis. Now, this brings up a question of how a subject, knowingly or unknowingly, having already engaged in self hypnosis can be affected by that fact. Can this work for or against you, as you engage in what I could call the "primary" hypnosis? As an aside, I experienced this while watching another hypnosis video. It was in Japanese and the hypnotist had an assistant doing a "live" translation into english, using a laptop. He introduced himself, the subject and the assistant. Then he began the induction, which didn't take long as the subject had been hypnotized before. After the usual bits, he put the subject under and then turned to the assistant to put her under. There was a moment of shock before my mind took over and said, "You knew she was there from the beginning." Anyway, as I thought about it after the video was over, I realized, as an audience member, that I had engaged in self hypnosis, making the assistant disappear, become invisible like a hypnotist sometimes does to their subject, which is why I felt the initial shock when the hypnotist brought her into focus. Like she just appeared out of nowhere.
people who want to learn ABOUT hypnosis and how it works have not consented to being put in a trance state. this is really unethical behaviour. look at all the comments saying they were being induced watching this. it's not ok to structure a vid like this. and it's not ok to put clients in and out of trance before they consent to it. that makes you a controlling manipulative person who is not safe to talk to. you're not a therapist, you're a stage magician
Hi Mark, I was just watching your clip and about half way in my eyes were closing on me and at one point there was two of you on my screen! If I’ve learned anything from this clip if nothing else it’s a great clip that will send you asleep 😴 👍

The best hypnotists will always tell you that it's all in the set-up. If you get the set-up right, then the rest is a doddle
