Also silly that the short chute gets taken twice ?!?!
Pity that we could not see the battle between the Wilde and Bergere. Feels like Wilde would have taken it if the short chutes don't save Bergere

So, why's this not working properly?
Johnny Brownlee should be taking the win there. Super league seems to be descending into chaos, love the format but you can't pick and choose when the rules apply.
Counting your own laps is part of racing... 👍 arguing with officials is not

What's worse is Super League making YT shorts of all their officiating mess ups. The last 2 videos I watched were cringe

There was an an officiating error, so no penalty was given
It feels very unfair because in the womens race Lehair get's DQ because of here helmet strap which she stopped for and Bergere and Wild don't get even a penalty when riding true transition!!! I'm not taking SLT serieus anymore because of these amaturistic mistakes.

As the commentators said at the time, helmet strap is probably the only instant DQ in super league, Wilde and Bergere probably should have has a small penalty, but Wilde had already lost the race by then
Bergere and Wield should have both been disqualified... road all the way thru transition! right to their bike rack

Incredibly bad race management. How can Lehair be disqualified whilst Betto received no penalty for lethal weaving causing a horrific crash.

Amazing that you can get disqualified for removing your bike from the rack while a helmet strap/clip accidentally comes undone, while someone else can win a race after having ridden his bike right through the transition area to his bike rack without as much as a penalty. Disgraceful ruling and certainly not doing the sport any favours.
Sums up Super League to a tee. Disqualifying your top French athlete for not having her helmet on before she even crosses the line. Why would you sponsor this type of event with such archaic rules.

02:06:40 on the bottom left of the screen it shows lap 3 AND lap 4 remaining... it seems there is another lap still yet to be complete. Who is at fault here?
02:07:29 nobody knows what happened but it appears they actually had another lap on the bike which means that Wilde would have been in the lead as I predicted... But nevermind... Another example of Super League officials messing up (like the olympic start). The show must go on!

so the ladies race Lehair gets DQ for correcting her helmet before going off through transition. but the men's race they both do not dismount and get let off. inconsistent makes this once again a bit of a joke. all rules should be checked at the end of the race and be given a penalty not DQ complete BS. uncessesary stress to athletes who train hard.
MG comes across as a bit of an arse.. his attitude and language in talking with the official should have gotten him removed from the area! Athletes can't act like that and neither should the team captains.. very poor display
MG is a personal trainer mate of maccas. He is a total loser
