Congratulation to all these brave women!
Fantastic athletes putting in amazing performances. Unfortunately the viewing value was hugely diminished by poor, or more to the point completely missing on screen race data like basic splits etc, allowing viewers to see who was where in the race. Not helped much by commentators seeming having more breaks than they did commentary.

I knew that Taylor Knibb was good at swimming, very good at cycling and now she has improved a lot in running which was her weakest point, very good Taylor.

The leaderboard is completely useless if the rest of the athletes disappear when the first athlete hits the next timing mat. Do it like every other racing sport and keep all the time differentials up from previous mats!

Yeah ok👌 she barely finished 5th in last weeks PTO race but she would have won today. Got it!. Once TK is done with the Olympics she will be dominating everyone for the next decade.

Probably recovering from getting her butt kicked at last week's PTO race in Singapore. Why show up here for a 6th place finish.
Admittedly, I’m quite disappointed by how the race panned out. Not worthy of a World Championship. Boring from the beginning: Almost all of the contenders are prone to “slower” full distance pace (their A race probably being Kona), whereas Knibb has just punched her olympic ticket over OD und thus being unchallenged in top end speed. Hope the men’s race is going to be more fun to watch.

As much as people are going to provide her excuses, Lucy Charles-Barclay is on the same trajectory as Lionel. Fan favorite, with a once-in-a-great-while excellent result, but due to one very poor discipline, their time in the sun is over. The swim game has ruled Lionel out of the win; the run has ruled Lucy out of the win. They are the athletes who would've been great in the previous generation. Controversial, and I love them, but thats my take.
No way. Lucy is the most talented. Just hurt. She also has most followers and had best videos. She deserves more attention during these races. Nobody cares about Taylor Knibbs
Lucy has won a WC with the fastest SBR in 2021 against the same field. Lionel hadn’t won anything major. Lucy is the most consistent athlete across all distances, check the stats on the PTO page. Lionel is not even in the same league.

OMG what horrible coverage. The triathlon world has passed IM, thats what happens when you as a company thinks they are bigger than the athletes and are in it for the money. They are ao far behind the other guys. The two main commentators where horrible, DD stop talking over everyone.
