Good stuff man. Do cold! We are warming up to the hopers 40s today lol. Snow is melting away quickly.
Oh, nice. We're supposed to hit 31 tomorrow. I think the severe cold is done.
Looking good Brian.👍Most of those are Nice and Strong, Sweet.😁Keep the food on the girls are EATING this Winter. Blessed Days buddy...
Appreciate the check-in DC. . Lets pray for warm weather soon.
Cool water-to-snow clip! Glad to see your girls are doing just fine.
@@Highland_Honey I had fun filming that. . Hope it warms and I can get some stinger therapy soon.
That hot water to snow stuff if wild.
Come on up Bruce. . You can make snow also.
That scope scared me! All the empty space and dead bees. I found plexiglass inner cover is the bomb. I can see them without opening it up😊
A plexi inner would be great. I'll probably check fondant this weekend, so should see more activity then.
@CastleHives * mine are filling cells around brood with that fondent I'm convinced but can't prove it!
Yours look good. It has been -20 here a couple days so I need to check on them. Hope it warms up soon!
Looks good!! I checked our after the -17 below and still have all 7 hives going strong
Excellent. Amazing what those little buggers can handle. Appreciate you watching.
Awesome video
Thanks. . Glad you enjoyed it. It was to darn cold for me to do much of anything.
@CastleHives no doubt .it looked cold out there
Brian, I usually check my hives before sunrise. I find too much noise with the infrared camera when the Sun is up. Hope all colonies have survived.
That is a good idea! I never thought about that. I'm going to check them tomorrow, well, the fondant. We're hitting 31, so we have warmer Temps coming.
Nice view of the bees.I lost my good gloves too
@davidhughes6548 Thanks. . Got another pair of gloves, so I'll be good. Somewhere i have 3 or 4 pair. . Lol
My pair was gortex on my 18th birthday hunting gloves. Camouflage, I can't find them, and I'm 64 now, and they're still good.
@@davidhughes6548 oh wow. That stinks.
Hey Brian!Which thermal imaging camera do you have?
@brianpodhaski6690 Mine is the Topdon TC001. That model is specific to android phones. I think the TC002 is iPhone.
Someone needs to send Brain a pair of gloves.
I got another pair. Couldn't find my last pair for the life of me.
I got -31C for 4 days up in canada I was wondering how my hives would handle that cold, need to get a thermal camera.
@@jeremyrunciman241 We hit -42 like 4 years ago, they were fine. As long as they are strong, no worries.
@CastleHives i made them insulated covers this year so I'm hope they are good 👍
