Awesome video; know quite a few of these RUclipsrs already (Under The Mayo, KazzaGamesTV, and Better Than Starlight are new to me). Hard for me to pick a favorite RE game bc I have different reasons for liking a certain game. I'm a huge fan of plot twists, so Village is my fave in that category. RE5 (particularly the cutscene battles against Wesker) satisfies my love of kickass choreographed fights. And my fondness for branching narratives is what draws me to the OG RE2 & 3.
Exceptionally fun video to watch before sleep. I too am a nerd, and love ranking/hearing other people's opinions. Having now completed all RE games that I'm interested in, it's fantastic hearing fans' faves (all of which having a different story of how they got into the series)- I got into it 2021. The editing for the video was fantastic, and such a lovely display of new content creators for people to watch. I appreciate the love for RE5, a game that I had such a blast playing with my friend! Also, for Code Veronica, which is the hardest game I've ever played personally- that Tyrant plane moment... but the soundtrack, villain, and emotions are impeccable. I actually love Steve too! Makes me also want to watch a playthrough of the OG RE3, as I don't have the means to play it myself. Village is my favourite. It's the ultimate combination of everything I LOVE about the series! All kinds of horror is there- mansion with a pursuer, body horror, genuine psychological fear, and a more industrial vibe. It looks fantastic, plays amazingly, has exceptional voice acting, and the ending made me cry. I'm going to replay it soon in time with these autumn vibes! Looking forward to more awesome RE content!

Ahh this'll be a great listen on my way to work tomorrow! Imma quickly share my favorite before listening to this tomorrow. Resident Evil 3 Nemesis. The gunplay, dodge option (even tho it's clunky), the amount of perfectly placed encounters, the Nemesis encounters (big favorite of mine), the things Nemmy drops, the fluidity of Jill running or doing the new 180 spin. Man, where do I even end it, the Mercenaries!? Insane upgrade to what RE2 (second favorite) brought. I still left some stuff that are pretty clear on why it's my favorite. Stuff like the new Gun Powder system, the amazing bosses, the awesome weapons (small shotgun is my favorite RE weapon), the choice system in cutscenes. Really sorry for rambling so long. It's just that Resident Evil 3 Nemesis is THAT good for me. I recently did a Knife Only run and MAN. Such fun. Legendary game. Thanks for gathering the Residents. Subscribed.

Thank you for making this video it's amazing to see that so many people have a love for re games. I personally am trash playing these games, therefore, I just leave it to all of the professionals. I have tried to play them and I have played 0, 1 remake GameCube, and re revelations 2. Failed miserably! Therefore, I just watch youtubers play them. However, my first time watching one of these was re 2. But I have to say re3 Nemesis was the best of the classics. Re4 remake is the best remake to watch at least. I remember hearing about resident evil and the 3rd game is the first I ever saw played and my cousin was at the park part and i personally played 2 first. Loved it.

I think for many users, including myself, it was a kind of summary and at the same time a tour through the opinions of people we've been listening to for years! So many familiar voices with whom I've spent countless hours in recent years, suddenly in one place! And look at the interesting thing you managed to highlight, which is wonderful in Resident - everyone has their own style, people point out different titles as their favorites, yet their love for the series brought them all together. Really great job, and I'm glad that so many well-known and lesser-known creators agreed to take part :)
Don't get me wrong nothing wrong with the og games. But I'm glad a couple of them are still recognizing the greatness of the remakes instead of being completely blinded by nostalgia especially with re2 and re4 those will probably be the best remakes we will see in resident evil.
I love the remakes. Re2 remake is my third favorite game of the franchise. RE7 is my 4th favorite. But OG RE2 I just find myself replaying more than not only every game of this franchise, but every game ever. Rather that’s nostalgia talking or just my taste in classic Survival horror, that’s why it’s my favorite of the franchise. Nothing wrong with anybody that prefers new entries of course though! Just a difference in opinion.

Resident Evil 4 original was my favorite of all time with two being a very very close second. Really really hard to pick a favourite. Re2 OG, RE3 Nemesis and REmake are so close it’s impossible for me to pick. But if I had to it would probably be 2/3/remake. Outbreak was amazing playing online. Code Veronica is a really fun entry. 0 was a sleeper. I never played RE4 OG(I was turned off by the enemies not being zombies and it being more of an action game) 5 was ok mainly because of co op. Never played 6. 7/village were great as standalones (FP is fun but I think RE games are better 3rd person and honestly I still have a soft spot for static cam/tank controls) 2/3/4 remakes are all super fun modern games, but suffer from some flaws. 2 having a weak scenario B. 3 being quite inferior to OG.
My favourite is too hard to pick between RE1R, RE4, and RE7...but if i did have to choose, it would be 7. Playing it for the first time in VR is unmatched.
My favorite one is and shocker is resident evil 6, this scenario reminds me of the film *vantage point* and same time this is first time I play it after finishing that shitty hell hole of high school and before going to senior high

Just when j thought I couldn’t love Mayo anymore. 100% the Resident Evil remake is the definitive game in thee series and the game I’d recommend anyone to play if i could only choose one. Original Resident Evil 3 however is and will always be my favourite game of all time.
My favorite Resident Evil games is Resident Evil 4 Remake. I played RE4 Remake so many times, because this game is more enjoyable to play and I enjoy with Ashley Graham that she less annoying character and she useful in case for the player needs help for situation
It's quite hard to say which one is my favorite since all of them I've played are great, but all of them also have spots that I really wasn't a big fan of or let's say that significantly reduced the quality of ambience. RE8 is a great example as the castle was absolutely AMAZING in my opinion, but both the swamp and the factory didn't do much for me. They weren't bad per se, just not as good. Same with the island in 4, especially after the turret section. If I had to make a top 5 it'd probably something like: RE4R > RE1R > RE2R > RE7 > RE3R/RE0, but the margin is very slim for me and might change day to day, depending on what I'm in the mood for.

The OG RE2 is still my favourite to this day.
