Filmed by me. I had a few requests to put the whole ride in a video, not just the fast bit. At the time of upload, it was the only video with the entire ride on the net! Enjoy!
Sorry about the darkness at the start, it was filmed on a little digital camera so it's the best I could get. Still, you get the idea.... And this is my very first attempt at a POV on a rollercoaster!

Tbh the scariest part of this ride is when it stops at the start then goes at full speed. The anticipation

The rush you get when it shoots you out at 0 to 100 in 2 seconds is just insane and never gets old. It's my favourite rollercoaster.

i went on this ride two years ago with my dad, aunty and older sister. i remember being completely nervous and horrified to go on it, but then again, when i went to L.A and rode "California Screamin'",
haha! Cool, I haven’t been on. But my siblings have and it says “don’t worry folks, there’s only one way out” before superman pushes u. Would it be too scary for an extremely anxious 10-11 year old
I went on this ride today and my face was just like 😨 but I loved it. The fast take off was so much fun then going on the first drop was insane. The look on my face was priceless

lol, i remember this was the first roller coaster i decided to go on, and this happened when i was just under 20, and I was pretty nervous in the pre-ride section, but the ride itself was awesome fun! Shame i couldn't go on the lethal weapon one...
Awesome ride. Takes off so fast and that first hill is scary as. Loved it.

I went on this in 2008 when in Oz, really enjoyed it. Watching this video brought back momories and made the hairs on my arms stand up! What a rush! Thanks for this.

we have unlimited entry till june 30... oh yeh! ......went yesterday and the superman escape is by far one of the coolest rollercoasters ive ever been on... with the lethal weapon a close second and then the mick doohan third for its innovation... good job movie world!

I live near there, got a yearly movieworld pass... get to go on this maybe once every 2 -3 weeks, sooo much fun!!!

My God, when I went on this it was so intense and fun, I just remember looking through to the end of the start tunnel, then everyone shouts "10! 9! 8! 7! 6! 5! 4! 3! 2! 1!" Then you fucking zoom out so fast, it was so amazing, going out the tunnel and up and down the first hill feels like a gigantic orgasm, except better with more wind and blurry vision. It pretty much feels better than taking Heroin. You just feel, so invincible, and so intense and anxious at the same time. Heroin + this = God.
I love this ride Cant go to movie world without goin on it even if the lines are like Hell long FUCKEN WORTH THE WAIT!

I went to movie world yesterday and I had told myself that I must go on this but then I chickened out and I'm regretting it 😭 though I am going next week so I will get another chance to ride it... hopefully I do not chicken out again 😂😂😂

This ride rocks, can you get a video that has what superman actually says before the ride actually starts? That's totally the best part and for some reason his voice dies out before he finishes.

Ok if you don't have the guts to go on this ride and your over 17 listen to this, this will give you some courage for this ride, I'm 11 and I survived threw it with no tears best ride I have ever been on!

@spaziPenguin Yes, the "very very short Maurer Söhne x-car coaster" = Skyloop. It's the XT150 model to be exact, which is the basic model without any extensions.
I wanted to go on this but I couldn't bring myself to do it! I'm not a ride person, I can't handle the Stomach/heart in the throat feeling hahahahahaha. That first up/down bit made me chicken out when I saw it!

It’s extremely good, and DC Rivals (which you can do backwards for like $20 and is definitely worth doing)

rock n rollercoaster is in disney... they dont have many "actual" rollercoasters, but they've got some pretty epic stuff.

Dude, make urself a mount using 2 pairs of vise grips, of which are welded together with a couple supporting bars, and have a screw welded to the frame, and a washer set in 1/4" :D Screw the camera on, clamp it to the restraint handle, and viola!
OMG never in my life will I ever do that again! Fuck that, take off is so fast that it felt like i left my body behind lol and when you first go up it literally feels like your floating out of your seat.

Me and my brother were 3 and 4 in line but there was a younger girl and her father in front so we got the front seat and I was going "no, NO!" cause I was SOO scared!! And when you get up to the doors and you can see all the barriers slowly going down and then they say THE LINE and you go shooting up and then at 1:00 it feels like your floating in the air and amidst this they take a photo where I don't think even the model smothered n make up can look glamorous more like they've swallowed a frog
i just got back from qld and i waited in line for 45 minsand me and my sis went at front and we didnt expect that the take would be that fast 100km an hour wow
omg i love this ride i went on it 5 times BEST THING IN THE WORLD. im only 11 years old and i have done all the rides there dont be scared there not ment to hurtu. your picture will get taken in the second hole thing u go in so try and get ur smiles ready (if u can)

It's called a roll-back. While it is uncommon, it's completely normal on any accelerator rollercoaster.
Omg I just left movie world and went this today. It's soooooooo fun and it's faster than it looks, though it is really not as bad as you think it is
best ride in movie world.. just be sure dont go on a rainy day.
