Looking forward to some more paint tutorials.
Always enjoy the painting tutorials
The Giveaways are smart! Good way to keep people watching.
Looking forward to more content. Would love to see more painting tutorials. Always looking for new tips and tricks to push my stuff to the next level.
Painting Battletech vehicles could make great new content. Always interested in painting and new techniques.
I like painting tutorials, and I now giveaways are a good way to get eyeballs on the videos.
You are doing us all a great service!
Thanks for the video last week recommending the brass brush and chisel blades. The brush does really nice work on the soft CGL plastic.
I'm happy to see the channel grow!
Can’t wait to see your work on the new BattleTech armor minis that came with the Mercenaries release!
I'm really digging the new box art for the Beginner and AGoAC releases.
Thanks for all you do! Looking forward to more content.
This is a great idea! Looking forward to seeing more content, batreps, and painting tutorials. Cheers and keep up the great work
Keep at it man! I'd love to see some painting tutorials for some of the new releases (like the Kickstarter mechs, 2nd Star League pack, the IS Battle Armor, etc.).
Week 2, let's go!
More miniatures please. Paint them all cause I suck at painting mine
Really been loving all your videos
I'd love to see some force composition content. Keep up the great work!
Just finished your most recent batrep. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for all you do for the hobby! Keep grinding and the subs will come.
I love all the content you put out. Keep up the great work and I hope the stress from your vehicle goes away soon.
Interesting stuff, would like to get some painting tutorials before my kickstarter turns up
Really liking your content. The dice explanation helped. Anything you can do to integrate Fortress would be great.
I like your guy’s website, very cleanly designed.
Looking forward to more Alpha Strike content
Would love to see more painting tutorials, be they battletech or some steel rift minis!
Loving the battle reports, the narrative stuff is great!
Great video! Looking forward to more videos.
Just started playing 2 weeks ago, still working on what to get...you channel been helping
I hope this will boost your channel. I love DRDs stuff!
Some paint tutorials would be nice. Not just advanced methods but some basic stuff to make the minis look good. A lot of people are just intimated by seeing advanced stuff to start.
Have you tried Speed paints with an Airbrush? Do you have any pro's or con's?
Regardless of giveaways I do watch your stuff. I’m still newish to BT and I really enjoy your content. Keep it up!
I'd love to see some Steel Rift !
Fortress is Awesome!!!
Your channel is great!
Getting a small group going for CBT in my area. I have a small Kurita force in the works while the other players rally units.
In the mean time I'm working on some Battle boards so we all have some fun scapes to play on
I've given myself a challenge with my new Clan Wolf force I have to magnetize the mini's for torso twist.
That said love the channel.
Week 2, let's party...... ! Woo Hoo ( ok that's a bit silly, yet fun)
More Steel Rift content would be excellent.
Keep up the great work! Love the Battletech content and always loved DrD merch.
some mcp minis would be awesome
Keep up the battletech
Another give away?! Sign me up!
Love me some AS content
your recent tutorials have been very helpful and my 8 year old has taken interest in your channel as well
May be worth keeping at eye on that, if I recall my videos aren’t tagged for kids. While it’s usually kid friendly sometimes some curse words make it into final production 🫣
That said I’m glad you guys are enjoying the ramblings and videos lol :)
Wooo DRD!
God, guns, and Battletech
awesome mah dude
Give me a THE! Give me an ARMED! Give me a PAINTER! What does the say?! THE ARMED PAINTER!!
Love the Alpha strike content. Just painted some Gray death legion using Pro Acryl (Monument Hobbies), great stuff.
Pretty cool that you’re doing giveaways. Really like that you have alpha strike content and it feels like that’s pretty limited around the internet
It's super limited and CGL doesn't give it enough focus. They seem to think CBT is the big draw to BT these days but AS really appeals to the more mainstream wargamers of today's climate.
@@Thearmedpainteralpha strike means I can play a game in a couple hours casually. It also is way easier to keep the kids engaged, which is huge to me. My 8 year old says he likes CBT, but he’s never played more than 3 turns of a game before wandering away…. And that was only 2v2 mechs. On the other hand, I’ve been able to play a full game of alpha strike (limited points, abbreviated quick start type keywords and all-or-nothing damage rolls) with him.
And I also really like AS more with my peers because we can ramp up the narrative elements of true combined arms without it turning into a full day slog for a small skirmish.
I would love to see more painting tutorials! Battletech is pretty starved for those!
If you're looking for increased viewership, I'd really suggest catchier, and more relevant titles, like including "Battletech" in the title. It's unfortunate, but click bait works! I'd also pop around relevant discords and drop links. You've gotta market yourself, not just let the algorithm do work for you!
Good luck!
What would you be interested in seeing me do tutorial wise?
@@Thearmedpainter I think more videos akin to the Turkina would be great. Having the low effort "you can stop here and still have something look good" and progressing to more challenging or time investing steps is great for new people. I'd also love to see a new cannon scheme every week or two.
The Battletech hobby culture is pretty meh, anything that enhances that is lovely to see.
I look forward to more content! Btw have you considered also doing RUclips shorts? From what I seen, it seems to drive up viewership metrics for smaller channels. Not 100% sure on that info but hopefully it helps!
I’ve heard this too, it’s on the list of things for me to try to do 🫣
it looks to me like your plan is working
What items from Death Ray Designs do you incorporate in Battletech?
I mostly use terrain. As a CSO artist I don’t use many of our 3D prints because it’s frowned upon to showcase those when you’re associated with the IP in this capacity. That said my COMSTAR uses a lot of our tank models :)
Any tutorials on painting terrain?
It’s unfortunately not as easy to showcase on tutorial form as it utilizes a lot of rattle cans. At least the way we paint our stuff at drd.
@@ThearmedpainterYea, I’m just starting out painting minis and want to progress to terrain once it starts coming off the printer!
Woot! Week 2. This comment is primarily for Algorithm Appeasement.
