Diego pronouncing Zoom as "soom" is the hottest thing ever and you cannot convince me otherwise
I love you for this
Have you heard him talk about Jabba De Hutt?
I would never even try.
Diego Luna roasting Conan left and right.
@David Luevanos - Your comment is spot on and I had to give you the 100th Like
After watching so many Diego interviews - like WTH they guy is smart, witty and funny as hell 😂
This is a light-hearted show so I don't mean to bring us down or get too serious, but Conan raises a very important point about the implications of staying inside particularly for the average Mexican citizen. A lot of people live day to day and depend on going out to the streets to sell their goods, or opening their family shops, there is no economic safety net for these people, who unfortunately comprise probably close to half of the population. At the same time they are also the most vulnerable health wise, exposed to the virus. It is something important to reflect on, no matter where in the world you live, because while this is the example of Mexico, similar dynamics occur all over the world, from entire countries to marginalized neighborhoods in countries with stronger economies.
I live in Mexico City. In the old Center and suburbs people go about like Covid doesn't exits. However, majority of people are wearing masks since the beginning of the epidemic. Unlike most Western countries. Every store checks temperatures and makes sure to give you alcohol for your hands. In the fancy neighbourhoods you see a lot of expats acting like covid doesn't exits. I definitely agree that the average Mexican cannot afford to stay inside because they need the money. They need every pesos. In general as an expat I have seen how Western and Asian countries are dealing with this epidemic. Compare to Mexico, it is really not that bad as the media makes it. Yes the death rate is high. But let's not forget that most Mexicans do not have the financial means. And Mexico has a lot more citizens than most other countries, plus obesity is a problem etc. In some Asian countries and European countries they didn't start controlling covid until after the summer when it was too late. Because people have been ignorant and think they are above the law. In Mexico, people started to take it seriously in March. Masks were obligatory and many do wear them constantly. You cannot say that from most other countries.
@@boogiedownbronx73 I think Mexico has the same problem Italy does and that is many generations live in the same house so passing the virus from the young to the older happens more often.
Its definetely at least a latín American problem
I feel so proud to see a fellow Mexican shooting a Star Wars series for Disney+ (a prequel of Rogue One), the best saga of all times.
Diego comes across as such a sweet guy. I hope he has a lot of success.
I really hope he's as sweet in reality as he seems to be in interviews
He’s an up and comer with a lot of potential so we’ll see
To be Fair he's 41, been acting since 1999. So Hardly a young up & comer. He's well known in Spanish speaking communities. But yes fairly unknown to westerners & seems to be a really nice guy.
@@samyg2020
He is perharps the best established actor in latin america. People forget that even though america is the current mainstream capital of the world, other regions still have huge markets, latin america has about half a billion people and it is the 3rd most spoken language in the world. Just like indian actors arent known in the west but their market goes up to a billion people.
y tu mama tambien
HI Conan! I am from Mexico and I will never forget the nice detail you had when you came to record some programs in Mexico !!! Thanks a lot !!! What a nice detail to drink mezcal, which is a drink that is not familiar to you, but you did it to toast Diego! I hope your head and stomach didn't hurt too much. I wish you a very Merry Christmas and thank you very much for your beautiful energy !!!
i see Diego, i click play
Cool when you see that he's shooting all his BRILIANT Andor scenes at the time of filming this interview.
I know that if Conan saw who Canelo is he would immediately want to have him on the show! lol Imagine him finding out Mexico’s best current boxing champion is a ginger 🤣🤣🤯
He needs Canelo on his show😃
Not just the best in Mexico, son. He is the pound 4 pound in the world. Put some respekt on Saul’s name 🙌👏💪
why is Diego so funny hahahaha love this!
O'Brien so patient to face all the roasting Diego threw lol. And I admire how good their skin was with these camera quality, esp Diego. He also styled so well :'D
I love the way Diego pokes Conan. If any of you have a chance go watch the Diego Luna interview with Trevor Noah which was about Narcos. Noah tried to kiss his ass and Diego basically told him he was crazy. It was funny as hell.
Diego is one cool cultural medium that very smoothly shows mexican way of acting and related things into north american way.
Mexico IS north america
Drinking game - take a shot every time Diego says “you know” 😝
I love him he is so funny lol
La muletilla mexicana al hablar inglés por excelencia. .. y “beisicli”
@@Nueztoy I wish I could understand what you said lol I don’t speak Spanish sorry
I can understand Diego doing that as he is translating in his head the English words to Spanish so he can understand what is being said. The you know is to give him time to do that. What I never understood was Obama saying UH all the time when he spoke the same language as the question he was answering.
@@mexicanspec yes I can understand that, I just thought it would be a fun drinking game.
@@mexicanspec "no sea ardilla compa" it's a joke
Es maravilloso que Diego sigue conectado de esa manera con Mexico, y que quiera tanto a su país, love you Diego!!! 🇲🇽
The roasts😂😂😂 Looove Diego he's talented and Hilarious
Thankyou so much dear

I just want to say. I've loved Diego Luna since I first saw him in some Teen Beat magazine I had in middle school. I remember it was for the movie Dirty Dancing, never saw the movie cuz I was in catholic school and I was scared to see people touch each other. 😂 I'm currently watching Rouge One and I just reminiscing on seeing a freaking cute Mexican guy and just feeling really proud of him.
Diego Luna is a very cool guy Im so glad we got an ANdor series
Great interview
Interview with Diego Luna must be the coolest way to get drunk.
He is a great actor!! I like his honesty.
Nice. This was episode-length and very entertaining. Especially seeing Conan downing those shots of mezcal and forgetting to "sip" them. Anarchy at its finest.
What a great guy its Conan, greetings from Mexico!
Yay!!!!
Happy Birthday Diego!! 🎂🎉
Diego Luna - the only person alive who is intimidated by Conan. 😬 That must be one more thing Conan likes about Diego! 😅
I hope Diego Luna goes on the podcast!! I’d love this
Diego Luna,is adorable,Charismatic,Very talented,GOD BLESS YOU!
"let's do another toast", sneaky. haha
Diego Luna is so beautiful.
Beautiful AND hilarious! What's not to love?
Good chemistry
Hold on! Mezcal should be sipped slowly Conan not taken like a shot lol
I like how Diego takes a cheeky sip and Conan just downs his glass! I mean, it’s not like Diego planned it out for Conan to get blind drunk 🥴
Fun fact: Diego Luna is half british.
@ half native half Spanish
That’s true. Her mother Fiona Alexander was born in England.
Unfortunately she passed away when Diego was a kid…
He is so handsome
Love Conan....I really miss his show.....
Diego Luna ♥️
I would’ve spent every birthday with Diego growing up, I could def see him being best friends with anyone if you give him the time!
Mis respetos para Diego. Took such courage to go inside a morgue drawer. Wow!👏🏻
When he said "this is the way" 😮
"A beautiful young Mexican boy or girl growing up with the name Conan. What a proud heritage."
Love this!
Conan is the GOAT Interviewer
He's really good at turning an awkward situation into something funny and light. Although awkward situations don't come up when he's talking to Diego--it's all just fun.
I love Diego!!!:)
HE SAID THIS IS THE WAY!
Cassian in Mando confirmed. 😏
jk
LMAOOOOO, nice glass, Diego.
Great interview!! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Diego Luna ♡♡♡ We need narcos 3!
Now I really need him on the podcast
12:40 same for me Diego. It is very cheap though. Don't have to buy much food for guests. Birthday twins. :)
🇲🇽❤
Diego es el mejor
Noooo, please do NOT drink mezcal like Conan did!! 😱😱😅😅
Conan played Andy Warhol in Weird Al and I didn’t even realise it was him he was so good! Salud! 🥃
This guy is actually so funny :D
Lol never disappoint...
Do the people from US even know who Maradona is 🤔 the rest of the world just assume it lol
Yes! We do :). Well this Nuyorican girl knows who he is and I don’t even watch Soccer ;)
@@BrooklynPadilla i'm glad, mentioning him is definitely our argentinian passport then 😂
Soccer player right?
@@caitieeeee yes, probably the best ever. I guess Diego became a more popular name between mexicans these days because Maradona passed three weeks ago
9:28 Diego, darn Youu! :D
I'll name my kid after you, Conan. xoxo
From the thumbnail I really thought that was Paul Rudd...
very good😝
I’m 17th!
You are drinking like a spring breaker, well that’s the American way
One more toast Diego
Anyone know the brand of Mezcal Diego has?🤔
Is it La Luna?
The brand is apparently La Corriente del Golfo (Spanish for "Gulf Stream"), but I am finding nothing about the mezcal on the internet with my nonexistent Spanish skills aside from its label design being in some designer's portfolio; literally everything else is about Diego and Gael's production company of the same name, or Spanish-language stuff about the actual Gulf Stream.
@@CGlacia oh! Yes, I had found that as well and realized that the mezcal was created by Diego and Gael and they named it after their production company. So far you can only get it in Mexico. 😥 I love Mezcal and hope to one day try this one!
Diego is half British but he feels 100% Mexican.
You make it seem like he was flying around the world going to school in london. He is from Mexico city, ive seen him in telenovelas and movies since he was in his 20s.
Hello
Conan vs canelo lol
Conan what about talking to Rachel Maddow and her book Bag Man?
The roasted locket lily rob because idea electronically plug upon a noxious angle. aware, majestic advertisement
Start Wars on Endor A Rogue One prequels Show on Disney +
The name is Andor cuz Diego ‘s character in rogue one is Cassian Andor. It’s not related it Endor.
Not all mexicans are helpless drunks by the way
Indeed, some of us are helpless while sober as well.
First
A Mexican, who is in London, makes a comment on U.S. Politics. Welcome to 2020
I'm pretty sure mexicans in London have had opinions on US politics for many, many years.
Lmao do you like free speech? He can say whatever he wants
I don't think that Diego Luna's opinions interfere on the political ideology of Americans (as You call yourselves),despite the fact that we live in a globalized world which allows us to express our points of view. That way of thinking is biased and old-fashioned. Welcome to 2022!!
Thanks to not make it political Diego, I hope you are satisfied with whom you supported it 🤣
Jesus why he shouldn't be able to talk whatever he wants. You trolls seem to claim you love free speech but I you disagree you always complain about someone being too "political".
@@nabukt4208 coz last time he made a political statement, Mexico had an earthquake and he made it political, instead of just talk about that current situation, and you know he apologized direct to me when I criticized him, specially when the current president is being a huge dissapoinment and he even dropped his support, thats why I thank him in this video, so you should known the reason behind everything, just dont antagonized because you think you have the complete true -_-u
Let's Go Brandon.
please adopt him, he is no welcome in Mexico, we do not want whitemexicans
