I am waiting like a mofo . Hated to watch the last episode because I know maybe a year or two for more. I think they will now start telling the story of El Chapo , especially because his real life story will come to an end soon with his court trial . Will be a bigger story to tell. Narcos Mexico might be better than Narcos Colombia because we really do not know the Mexican story, it's current and they can be more violent with it The Chapo part because it is still going on, can make it incredible

I think Narcos Mexico is the best season so far. Better than Cali cartel and Escobar. I'm probably biased though because Michael Corleone from The Godfather is my favorite movie character of all time, and Felix reminds of the Mexican version of Michael Corleone.
I see a lot of Colombian, trying to say that the narcos colombia series was better, but the truth is that I only saw the first season and I was falling asleep, and that's why I did not want to see narcos mexico, but when I started to look at Narcos Mexico since the first chapter I loved it, I need the second season NOW.

Landscape, scenery and overlap production was amazing and much better than Narcos. Not to lower Narcos in any way it was also very addictive. But hats off to Diego for an amazing role.
I think that the Colombia series came closer to telling the truth about US involvement in Latin American countries. Kiki was used as propaganda by the US to continue the bogus drug war as a cover for asserting US influence/interference in Latin America. The actor Pedro Pascal who played Javier Pena is such an interesting interview. He was born in Chile and his parents were driven out by the violence that occurred after the US installed their mass murderer puppet Augusto Pinochet. I still love the show and am looking forward to season 2 Mexico

@@freyamikilson6511 Thanks for being respectful to try not to spoil it. Your comments about the us are right on. I think in all the seasons so far they haven't painted the us like some beacon of goodness as they've been shown to be a big part of the problem by allowing these things to happen while they looked the other way and only getting involved when the money was getting too big to ignore.
I think the next season will explore US involvement more. This season just set the stage for the story to unfold. There is a huuuuge gap between the powerless DEA of Kiki's day and the powerful DEA of today. They have a lot of ground to cover. I haven't researched the true events but based on your comment Kiki's death must have been a huge catapult for the US gov to leverage the DEA to stick their nose in Mexico's business.
As much as I am enjoying the sheer brilliance of this series and how it brings this all to life, I can't help but ponder the stupidity of human beings. All this war, violence, corruption, murder, insanity...all this because we've made a plant illegal. Thank goodness we're in the 21st century and starting to see some change here.

Glad to see Diego Luna get worldwide recognition as a great actor. He, along with Gael Garcia Bernal, use their work not only to entertain, but to shine light on the issues affecting Mexico and other Latin American countries. And they do it with such eloquence, you can't help but admire them.

I am waiting like a mofo . Hated to watch the last episode because I know maybe a year or two for more. I think they will now start telling the story of El Chapo , especially because his real life story will come to an end soon with his court trial . Will be a bigger story to tell. Narcos Mexico might be better than Narcos Colombia because we really do not know the Mexican story, it's current and they can be more violent with it The Chapo part because it is still going on, can make it incredible

I think Narcos Mexico is the best season so far. Better than Cali cartel and Escobar. I'm probably biased though because Michael Corleone from The Godfather is my favorite movie character of all time, and Felix reminds of the Mexican version of Michael Corleone.
I see a lot of Colombian, trying to say that the narcos colombia series was better, but the truth is that I only saw the first season and I was falling asleep, and that's why I did not want to see narcos mexico, but when I started to look at Narcos Mexico since the first chapter I loved it, I need the second season NOW.

I think that the Colombia series came closer to telling the truth about US involvement in Latin American countries. Kiki was used as propaganda by the US to continue the bogus drug war as a cover for asserting US influence/interference in Latin America.
The actor Pedro Pascal who played Javier Pena is such an interesting interview. He was born in Chile and his parents were driven out by the violence that occurred after the US installed their mass murderer puppet Augusto Pinochet.

I think in all the seasons so far they haven't painted the us like some beacon of goodness as they've been shown to be a big part of the problem by allowing these things to happen while they looked the other way and only getting involved when the money was getting too big to ignore.
I think the next season will explore US involvement more. This season just set the stage for the story to unfold. There is a huuuuge gap between the powerless DEA of Kiki's day and the powerful DEA of today. They have a lot of ground to cover. I haven't researched the true events but based on your comment Kiki's death must have been a huge catapult for the US gov to leverage the DEA to stick their nose in Mexico's business.
As much as I am enjoying the sheer brilliance of this series and how it brings this all to life, I can't help but ponder the stupidity of human beings. All this war, violence, corruption, murder, insanity...all this because we've made a plant illegal. Thank goodness we're in the 21st century and starting to see some change here.
