Nice reference but one of the most important things is confidence when playing. If you don't have a curry shot and your scared to drive like curry because your short. You won't be as much of a use as say Isaiah Thomas or Kyrie Irving.

Coach I play PF but I’m vastly undersized I’m only 5,3 at 12 and I do not know how to play in the paint at all and I don’t like to post up and do all the big man skills I like to shoot and I feel like the 3 ball and my shot is one of the best aspects of my game but I can’t showcase that because I have to stand down low and since I live in an underdeveloped basketball country there aren’t to many taller kids that play basketball so I am considered “tall” so it would be hard for me to be able to play the 1 or even 2 since I am one of the tallest on the team so how do I fix this?

My town had a 3on3 tournament the other day and there was one team with an eight grade center who was very tall now I’m not real sure I’m almost 6ft in the seventh grade but I tried as hard as I could to guard this kid but he ended up scoring every time... any tips

While you do make good points, your passing IQ/vision/accuracy is far more important, which is why you now have point forwards, who orchestrate offenses. They aren’t great ball handlers, but they are fantastic at setting up others. Westbrook has NO passing IQ.
The last one should really be number one in my opinion, I can't tell you how many selfish players I've played with in the past that just jacked up a bunch of bullshit.

So usually I would alternate between point and shooting guard but primarily shooting guard though. I just preferred scoring I guess. I averaged about 17. But now that I’m running point full time my scoring went down but my assists went up instantly. I averaged about 3 but these past 3 games. I had 7 11 and 6 assists. Is that normal to lose some scoring ability or do I just need to get used to it?

Im the shortest on my team but the fastest.
My choach told me that i should be swapping from small forward to point guard in the next year or so and these tips are hopefully going to be very helpfull when swapping!

another note for point guards: you don't have to be the guy to get the assist. look at steph curry. ignoring the deep threes, the main thing he does is run the offense, use screens well, and let his teammates work. but, you should still be the guy that can make plays when the offense breaks down

Have you done a video about how to get your basketball confidence up? If you haven’t, you should because I am good during practice but during games I just don’t have the confidence to get to the hoop and shoot the ball
Ethan Zang I got my confidence when I became the best dribble in my county, and that took a week of balling. But all together it prolly took me a 2yr journey lol.
Really practice layups, off hand, goofy footed, floaters. Inside hand layups, reverse , scoop layups finger rolls(I can do all these layups without thinking , I just can't do the kyrie layups where he spins the ball off the corner of backboard).
And work on dribbling with both hands, and having a signature move with counters.
It's a lot more but just do these things 1st I promise you you will be a different player. Just being able to use both hands shooting and dribbling will get you and extra 10pts
