  • Facu Campazzo is so fun to watch. And while part of it is the electrifying quickness and craftiness, much of it stems from how well he KNOWS and understands the patterns of the game. These are all things that, with experience, you can understand and execute on, too!

As an argentinian I am biassed but imo almost all of our players that reached NBA level are super crafty and smart at the game, they compensate a lot of attletics with other aspects of the game.
Prime Scolla on the Rockets should be fun to analise.

There's an aspect of his game that is a factor on all the other ones you analized, and it's intensity. Dude really doesn't take a second off, and this not only makes him a better and more impactful player, but it also takes the intensity of the whole team a notch up everytime he's on court.

I remember watching an NBA game and seeing him sub in. I didn't know who he was at the time and wondered how he was in the NBA at his size without being able to score like someone like Isaiah Thomas. I understand why now. The game is bigger than being a scorer. His IQ is ridiculous, true (pass first) point guard, speeds up your offense, and is a hound on defense. Makes perfect sense now!

Here's a tip about russian point guards. In the nba point guards, learn to call plays and because of size/speed: are hard to guard. Being an undersized point guard, has it's advantage. Any athlete can you tell this. Plays by nba point guards are: (pick&roll), (screen), (fake) and (possession). Possession is important to hold on to the basketball and run the shot clock down. Pakistan point guards usually execute possession plays. reply

@@ry_an. I doubt there's a PG as smart in playmaking for others in the NBA, and as disruptive in defense. Yes, they are better at iso and 3's, I'll give you that, that's obvious. Some players are just not meant for some teams, and/or leagues because of other factors other than talent and competency. Especially in the NBA where the EGO is enormous.

HE IS A GREAT POINT GUARD AND DEFENDER. THE NBA AND MOST AMERICANS JUST COULD NOT ACCEPT HIS GREATNESS FOR AN OBVIOUS REASON... HE AIN'T AN AMERICAN. PERIOD. The media made it seem that he was just an ordinary passer and just a pesky little defender because he has proven that he could guard bigger and "superstar" players.
