Pastor Creflo Dollar Preaches After Arrest For Allegedly Punching His Daughter

- Megachurch pastor Creflo Dollar is expected to preach on Sunday, in spite of a physical fight with his daughter that led to his arrest, his attorney said.
Fayette County Sheriff's Deputies arrived at Dollar's Atlanta home around 1 a.m. Friday after they received a domestic violence call from the pastor's 15-year-old daughter, authorities said.
The fight over whether the daughter could attend a party turned physical, authorities said.
A witness told deputies Dollar, 50, grabbed his daughter by her throat and choked her, causing a scratch on her neck, ABC News' Atlanta affiliate WSB reported.
Dollar faces misdemeanor charges of simple battery and cruelty to children. He posted a $5,000 bond and was released Friday morning.
In a statement issued through his attorney to the Associated Press, Dollar said he would never physically harm his children.
"The facts in this case will be handled privately to further protect my children. My family thanks you for your prayers and continued support," he said.
Dollar and his wife, Taffi, have five children.

Going through a similar situation with my 15 yr old and her father (my ex) and stepmother, he is a Reverend with AME church. He got custody in MS Courts for over 3 years. Controlling, manipulative, deceitful, didn't want to pay child support, confessed to not being a preacher in court to not investigate his finances and pay more child support, evading the law, alienating me from child, so much lawlessness, trauma, oppression, suffering. I embrace atheism (can think for myself) now due to church and Christians, religious nuts abandoning me and my kids and I use to be a believer. NO MORE!😠😠. I BELIEVE THE DAUGHTER OF DOLLAR'S .

No daughter of mind would be going to a party at 1:00 am. Her fast butt need to be watching Netflix or in the bed. She was 15 years old, if she had went out and something had happen to her you would be talking about that. You're absolutely right and what you've said reminds me of that verse in James 3, where it is written that those who teach in the church will face a greater judgement.
Also, in that ever-convicting, sobering and terrifying passage in Matthew 7, we are warned by Jesus Himself that on Judgement Day, many will say to Him, "Lord! Lord! Didn't we prophesy, cast out devils and perform many miracles in Your name?", but He will reply to them, "I never knew you! Depart from me, you who work iniquity!"
And yes, unfortunately, that will be the case for such men as Mr. Dollar if he doesn't repent of his ways and begin preaching the Truth.
From my understanding, not only are American churches seemingly like businesses, but some people might think of them as social clubs, where it is more about fellowship and fun than worshiping the Lord and sitting under the preaching of His Word.

It's so sad in these days and times that children would turn against father or mother just to get what they want. But "it is written", children will turn against parents...it happened with me with my son a few times. But the last time he threw me in jail under false allegations, I told him I was going to hire a lawyer and scrape up all the proof I need to have him convicted of what he has done to me and he has stopped! If you feel the need to have to vigorously strike your Biblically marriageable aged daughter over sneaking out to go to a party, you have already failed as a parent.
