- You’ve seen them on TV, popular televangelists who preach the gospel to millions around the world. You may be surprised that these men of God are living a lifestyle few could imagine. Jesse Duplantis and Kenneth Copeland drive fancy cars and live in lavish mansions. They also fly in private jets. It's impossible to know exactly how much money these ministries take in each year because they are not required to make financial disclosures of donations they receive and all of it is tax exempt. #InsideEdition
They have turned Christianity into a Business.

What Jesus was saying here is that you cannot BUY your way to Heaven, God is not impressed by your wealth, and most of all, DO NOT PUT MONEY BEFORE THE LORD!!! I’m religious and I don’t see anything wrong with religion. However, I hate people who use it as an excuse to justify their bad morals and to take advantage of people. I was brought up to not obsess over material goods, and to be generous to others even without anything in return. How can these hypocritical preachers be allowed to continue what they’re doing? They’re so blinded by wealth, status and power that they forget the most important values in life and how they can truly give to others. Volunteer for the community or donate to others if they actually care. Keeping that wealth for themselves, spending it on unnecessary luxuries and flaunting it is really inconsiderate and makes real followers of the faith look bad.

Ive had a church offer to pay to have my car repaired, ive seen a church come together to give christmas gifts to a family that had theirs stolen. Ive had a stranger ask me if i had any shutoff notices, she took them and said her church would pay for them. Our towns churches rotates weekends, opening their doors setting up beds, making food and families come together to play games and fellowship with the homeless. This video makes me sad because my family and i have been blessed by the love and kindness and selflessness of the church.
