Hi LiveNow from Fox, any way you cut it that one hurricane Milton is a major threat for basically the entire Florida peninsula. I myself am a seasoned hurricane survivor, have gone through several hurricanes starting from the brutals cat 4 hurricane Andrew way back in 1992 to cat 3 hurricane Wilma in 2005 here in Miami. My best advise to all the folks up in Florida, including myself, is that as the Attorney General said, to evacuate from areas of mandatory evacuation, since you wont have the chance to do it while the storm hits your area. As for other people outside of mandatory evacuation zones I would say to not be afraid, load yourself up with groceries and non perishable food, plenty of propane gas and plenty of bottled fresh water and prepare yourself with your grill for about 5 to 10 days of cooking within your front yard or patio before power is restored in your area. My prayers are with all of us to be spared from harm during the storm, rgs

Respectfully, telling people to get out without doing anything to help them get out is less than helpful.

I looked up pictures of people caught in storm surge from Hurricane Katrina after she told me this years ago and she is telling the truth.

It's about 4pm, Sunday... Please get to a designated shelter, if nothing else. Evacuating half the state is expensive for a lot of us, in many ways. Staying in the path, or close to the Gulf, can be fatal. Never underestimate the power of Prayers. It's how I deal with it....

This is why I would never move to Florida. Its a good vacation state but the hurricanes are annoying.

Tampa infrastructure is not prepared for these storms. This will be a big lesson for many people.

Well just like they created Helena to be destructive and directed it, (for their land grab agenda) so can they decrease Milton into nothing, but will they do that? No.

Why are there no buses to get people out of harm's way like they supplied prior to the Katrina hit? My friend lives a ten minute walk from the coast north of Tampa in Dunedin. She doesn't drive, owns no car, and has several children. What is she supposed to do? Get some BUSES, and help those who cannot help themselves!!! Stop busing immigrants and bus our citizens out of harm's way!!!
