Put your (plastic) water bottles in your freezer. They keep your food cold once the electricity goes out because they'll freeze, they don't cause an excess of standing water like bagged icecubes and when the electricity has been out for multiple days you have something cold you can pull out to drink in order to cool down in the heatwave that ALWAYS follows these storms.
I do that all the time to have very cold water at work! But also freezing a lot water is really good to add on your cooler to keep your food cold in case it starts defrosting.
Luckily its late the in the season so it shouldn't be too hot afterwards

This isn’t about politics!!! My parents home was decimated for a second time!!! Insurance won’t cover them anymore!! They have spent their retirement and life savings rebuilding repeatedly. !!!!!!!! Florida is unlivable!!!!

I moved out of FL. in 2022. Tomorrow I am traveling on a pre-planned business trip. Imagine the people that live in FL. that have such itineraries.
So glad I got the heck out of there.

It's not the first time there have been 3 hurricanes in the Atlantic at once. Irma, Katia, Jose in 2017. It is the first time in October
I think Milton gets cat 4 hurricane 🌀 in totally open waters four sides gathering more heat and humidity before landfall

I got news for you… it will go up for everybody’s insurance in every State… It doesn’t just go up for those affected. Ask your insurance agent. That would be nice though but we will all suffer some of the cost. Not as bad as those directly affected though.

@Corey, Oh I have no doubt they are for sure cloud seeding thats what the torrential frickin rains are coming from, I live in FLA and knew they were gonna it us this year, had no idea they would do what they did up to NC but those rains came from cloud seeding which cause disastrous flooding. Im on the East coast and cant find out what the winds will be here cuz Im in a mobile home.. Stay safe

@@paulettebarrow9791 Or you can learn physics. Record ocean temps means that energy will go somewhere, don't where but somewhere. If someone was ""seeding cloud" that would bring the rain where those particles are delivered. Of course we know that bringing particles increase probability of rain. Many times humans tried to do that. the result is always less rain after. a small effect. That means the effect would be the oppositeof your response. But hurricanes are fueled by ocean temp only. We all know those are at record level, that's why we have floodings everywhere on the planet from Nepal (now) to even Sahara (2 weeks ago) We call that climate change. Man made climate change. Made by who ? Mainly by USA as CO2 is stricly cumulative since 200 years. So I can say yes you are are personnaly responsible if your own carbon footprint exceed 2 tons a year. now you calculate and you will know if you are part of the game. You can also learn all the climate physics. So you will not have an opinion but you will have knowledge.

Where do people evacuate to? It's going across pretty much all of Florida. To the North of where it's heading is the areas hit by Helena and are flooded without power. To the South is Cuba.
