+Karsten Fjellheim I guess I would have to hear of some other themes...to agree with that. Laser Cue is pool in the future and Kings of Steel is a futuristic view of knights and card playing, which could all be construed as strange too!

That future spa is in beautiful condition, much like space invaders from them, the artwork is usually so beat up from use. Not this one though! The customer is getting a fantastic example of future spa! This is a game that has such cheesy artork, you cant help but to love it! Actually, future spa is on our short list of games to own at some point!

I can remember playing this as a teenager.....and on that one, when you opened the gate, it used to go across to the far left lane so you couldn't lose the ball there....ahh the memories...btw, have you done (or will do) a clip on Paragon??......used to be my favorite machine......

Funny story about Future Spa....the playfield artwork and back glass artwork were done by two different artists, and they didn't communicate about the design...aside from that it was going to be a futuristic spa theme. This is why the backglass art and playfield art are so different.

The backglass artwork was done by Paul Faris, and is clearly superior and more recognizable than the artwork in the playing field.
Really love Future Spa. More for the gameplay rather than the art. What was behind the decision to paint the head purple where it should be white?
+Rods PinballVideos It was painted black by the previous owner...and we decided to repaint it Purple to tie it in with the theme.

I think this pin falls in the category of having a really strange theme but people don't care because the game play and how the playfield was designed is really good.

all I said was stop smoking Steve :P (my brother who has asthma figured either pipe smoke or cigars was a wise choice. I don't think he does either anymore.) yes I almost got a broken nose once complaining about a guy at one place I worked at who still had bandages on his throat from throat cancer and there he was smoking away. Oh he was not happy. hmmm working on a saturday night. if you worked for a paper saturday...sunday meh huh? what time change..... only good thing about that time of night is changing the cans . like nobody's at the stores :D negative at that time of night. freezing rain and snow. if I get stuck heck if anyone will know about it..
