Venture products is in my neck of the woods! If I’d known you folks were visiting I would have driven over there to shake your hand and thank you for all you do in the RUclips community. I live 20 minutes from Orrville
Thanks for doing that. You told me before to get mine. When you stopped, and then backed up the hill, amazing . I'm sold. Yes you could possibly cut some with a zero, but skidding and spinning.if you get a zero pointed the least bit downhill. You're going to the bottom, whether through a fence a pond or just death.
30 degrees? Wow, that's up there with the high banks of the Daytona International Speedway. Most impressive. I'm subscribed to dozens of channels but this one i ❤the most. Congrats on over 50k subscribers and God bless!😁
I mow a hill like this at two of my properties with a John Deere zero but it ruins the grass sometimes, digs ruts into the turf. I only use the zero if I'm in a rush but it's scary if you do not know how to run it on hills like that. But I break out the 48 walk behind usually with a sulky and mow it no problem. I wish I could afford a ventrac but it's not in the books right now. Hopefully one day. Keep up the great work!
Do they have liquid tire ballast installed with this machine or is it heavy enough on its own to get enough traction on a hillside like this with the dual wheels?
Good ol Ohio I live in West Virginia them tractors are amazing I haven't even watched this and I know it's gonna mow just about anywhere especially with dual wheels articulated a lil to nice u can still tell that's a pretty steep hill il take my lil 30in snapper up that sucker lmao and roll it
Hey Pete, quick question, have you had any problems with your Ventrac? Mine has been in the shop more than any of my other equipment. everything from bearings, axle seals to bad casting housings. I DO NOT abuse my equipment and follow all recommendations in the manual. Just wondering from a Ventrac Operator. Thanks bud..
I'm going to take a video of the slopes we cut at Richmond International Airport and send it to you. Most people we have at work won't dare to get on them.
I've done that with a Gravely Walk Behind if not stepper. It was a Texaco back then and I think it was on Hickman Mills Road. 25 or 27 Years Ago and I live 5 hours or about 300 miles from there and have for 21 years.
Hey man. I work for my county's park and Recreation department. We have a few fields that desperately need to be redone/flattened. Would you be interested in possibly helping us out?
My "pucker factor" would really kick in going up the hill. For me, going up a hill, whether in a skid steer, tractor or Ventrac with the risk of flipping over backwards is a way worse feeling then driving down the hill. I could really use a Ventrac on my property. :-) Thanks for the video!!
I wondered about this. There is an old mansion in my area with maybe 4 acres of clear front lawn. The tough part is that it is ALL about 30 degrees of tilt from the house down to the road. Is it considered unsafe to mow a 30 degree hill across the face as opposed to going up or down the hill? It looked like the tractor was crabbing on you. The tractor was lower than the cutter it was pushing. Great vid!!!
I was on a school tour at ventrac when you were there. I actually saw you in factory when I was there. You were up on a catwalk/balcony overlooking the 4500 assembly line. I saw you filming and I was hoping that you would put that part in the video but you didn’t.
Cooper Meshew ha ha. Hey bro! You should have hollered at me! I haven’t edited that part yet. I will be sure to include that for you friend. Don’t be shy next time but don’t get in trouble with the teacher either. 🤪
I am a disabled veteran and looking into Ventrac for my property in Southern Ohio.. Can you hook me up with Arron(Aaron) and Ventrac location here in Ohio? I really need a demo to see if it can handle my hill... its terrible. Thanks
I have exact same Ventrac & can tell you that 30° always looks like nothing on film. It's very frustrating. Because unless you are in the seat of a Ventrac on one, you will not be able to understand. I have modified Scag hydro walkbehinds that can do 25° with a very experienced operator. Can even do 30° if ground conditions are perfect, but the Ventrac can have a rookie on it in any weather & most of all that operator is safe at all times longer n the Ventrac.
ventrac are great with the powerful 25hp diesel kubota engine and that sure cant beat it and there around $20 to $25,000 wich pretty cheap then the $140,000 holder c992
This fellaw is growing on me, how cannot you love the authencity, the kindness, the wit and southern accent. True entertainment
Absolutely hands down the best machine out there today, I totally want one
Man Pete your channel sure is growing and rightfully so. So much great knowledge from a great man!

Man I saw one of these mowing a hill next to a bridge on 85 a few months back. I almost doubled back to get a video of it for you. It was crazy.
Wow!! Over 50K subs....I was like in the 1-2000 range!!! So glad that you're getting the blessings. Keep up the good work.
Hey Pete! That thing is planted to the ground! Amazing what that thing can do! Down hill would make me nervous too!
I so want a Ventrac

That steep of a hill is no joke.
Ventrac is like an elephant and watermelon, strong and rugged yet freakin AWESOME! Love it! 🤳👑
Man those tractors are awesome! Thanks for sharing this, Pete!
Aussie First 😁 looks like a safe reliable machine. Thanks Pete for the demo. 😁👍👍
Going backwards up that hill! Quite impressive!
Just in time! Whoot whoot! Loving the videos👊👊👊👊😎😎
Pete, love the raw unedited footage!!
Congrats on 50k. Those Ventracs will be amphibious before long.
Great machine, I spotted on a s trailer here in St Louis a few weeks ago. 👍
Welcome to my home State Ohio Pete! yea I cant see no 0 turn mowing that hill without chains or spikes
What angle was the wright stand on good for?
Hey Pete, I don't hear any variation in engine rpms climbing the hills. How does the fuel usage compare with your other mowers?
Grrr can’t wait to be able to afford one of these! Great vids as always
I wonder if they would consider building utvs or side by sides or even bigger tractors

Did you ever lose oil pressure in the engine? That would be my ony concern. Thanks for the video.
Heavyset nope
Do they have liquid tire ballast installed with this machine or is it heavy enough on its own to get enough traction on a hillside like this with the dual wheels?
Ah man! So close to meet you in person! I would have bought you two dinner. Did you go to HyRBrix too on the way to Indiana?
George Popa I did
GCI Turf Services man! So close! 😎😎

How would the single wheel ventrac handle that hill though? You've got extra stability there with 8 wheels
Get your "hill" right, Pete! They should be sending you royalties my friend! God Bless! 👊👍🇺🇸
little Finkle I’m sure they are...
Hey Pete Can you do an update on the Bermuda grass softball field that you threw down all that fertilizer on last year? Thanks and have a good day
yep...i fertilized it the other day looking good

@@marcusg9954 man....I would love to help but i think you might be out of our reach....that's a hike for us
@@GCITurf that's completely understandable. Thank you for the help though. 🤙🏼🙂

No problem. When will that be uploaded? I was wearing a grey T-shirt and jeans. You might be able to see me keep looking at you. Lol
Cooper Meshew I’ll try and get it loaded before the weekend.
Okay. Give me a shout next time your in Wayne county, Ohio and I’ll get you some other factory tours.
Cooper Meshew sounds good
John Deere terrain cut 1580/Kubota f3690/Iseki Sf310/370 have been doing this type of terrain for years, they'll cut it way faster and nicer too
How wide would that cut?
Grace Ortiz flex deck is 83 inches
Are you satisfied with Ventrac?
I would have had "Skid Marks" in my Drawers attempting that 30° Slope... 😫
Thanks for sharing this Ventrac Demonstration Video!
Take care,
🤓-Thomas
TK Skagen ha ha. I about did myself!

Mine goes up and down 30 plus, and 30 degrees is steep, crabs really bad sideways
34 is where you start to feel uncomfortable on these. we have 5 and mow in PA and WV. They surely are amazing machines
Doesn't look like the deck is turned on, takes considerable power from the motor to turn blades and this affects steep hill performance.
Have a Ventrastic day! We love our Ventrac equipment too!
Buckeye state! Whoot whoot! 👊👊
