Iino is one of the best additions to a cast after a full season. Even in the manga I was not expecting her to be around as much as she is. And thankfully it is so. She even sounds like I imagined she would when I was reading the manga.
i remember i was so worried when they started adding new main stays to the cast. i guess i was a little defensive because the original trio was such a perfect dynamic i thought that besides recurring gag characters new main characters would ruin the flow. so glad i was proven wrong because i love Ishigami, Iino, Hayasaka, and Maki all equally as i love the OG three.
Things ive learned from this anime: Love is War If things aren't going your way make sure that your childish partially naive but sweet friend is there Dont confess to your crush be smart to make her confess first When you suspect people being horny and ask you to join say that yoir a novice and you'll only get in their way And most importantly dramatic music makes every misunderstanding better
I wouldn't really call it a "guess", since Miko is the one who brought Ishigami's case to that principal, so he already was there when Miko helped him. The only mild guesswork involved is Ishigami helping her, which he could have also seen
11:43 - with the misunderstood situation, it just hit me: Iino was not saying "no" explicitly. She was saying she was a "novice" and was probably thinking in saying she might get in the way. But that is still not a definite "no." Makes sense especially with the current arc. XD
Iino always has been the equivalent of the preacher's daughter stereotype. Goody and moral-- until you peel back the surface and realize there's a little freak in there that doth protest too much. Spoilers: Honestly if she weren't such a tsundere over Ishigami, she might have lost her V card before Kaguya did. Once she commits, she doesn't care lol.
She wasn’t explicitly saying no because in Japanese culture it’s rude to deny someone, so saying that you “lack experience” is a more appropriate response to not do something (Unless in a more bizarre situation like this where you should explicitly say no, but Miko has issues with being able to deny people to begin with)

I honestly want more jokes on this one, seeing so far it's just misunderstanding and him finding another place to call home. The side story will be Fujiwara slowly descending into insanity.

Miyuki is the only one who is implied to be aware of her feelings towards Ishigami. That's why it hits differently after reading the manga.

I despise authoritarians but what separates her from the garden variety is that she herself is actually grinding in the trenches, leading by example instead of controlling the pawns on top of an ivory tower.
