I really appreciated your informative review. I have a 2020 Fit EX and have been very happy with everything about the car. For someone looking for an economical, versatile, safe, and fun car with a small external footprint but spacious internal capacity, the Fit is hard to beat! Love my Fit! 🙂👍🏽❤️

Not quick at acceleration but gets the jobs done..it’s easy and fun to drive the fit around..very confident with narrow parking spots and believe me! They’re always a parking spot for the fit which most cars can’t fit in! The FIT is the best name for this vehicle..it can really fits in anything you wouldn’t think of. And great gas mileage..another great benefit.. $20-25 will fill it up! And last..this car holds its value !

That means yours oil has less life and damage your engine. Extra 35$ on oil change per year not gonna makes you rich. I’m not listening dealer bla bla.

If you are a DIY person you can fit a 4x8 sheet of plywood in the back and "mostly close" the hatch with a bungee. Exhaust fumes can then come into the car but it's okay for short trips. You can't do this with a Civic or Corolla.

I bought one in the UK back at the end of 2018. All was well for just over 4 years.
It was an okay drive. Nothing special . Bit noisy at 70 MPH (112kmh). Infotainment system was just about passable. Fuel economy was okay, and it's party trick is that it's quite spacious, with the magic seats.
But at just over 4 years old, then my low pressure fuel pump went wrong.
In the USA they had a recall for I'm pretty sure the same model as my one . However Honda UK seems to apparently think that my car was not affected by the major batch of faulty Denso fuel pumps. So I've got a £1200 bill spread over a few garage visits whilst the fault was trying to be found.
It's really easy to find that there was a massive recall of 700,000 Honda vehicles around the age of my one about Denso low pressure fuel pump failures, but somehow I magically never got one of those, but my fuel pump has gone wrong.
Honda UK are being really useless.
I will NEVER EVER EVER EVER buy another Honda car or motorcycle EVER EVER EVER again.
Things go wrong sometimes, but Honda UKs abysmal response to me has meant I can never ever trust Honda again.

I did not find the driver seat itself to be uncomfortable on long drives. And I'm not a young man with a strong back. I'm 1.73 meters long and with the seat all the way back or almost all the way back I have enough leg room but I'm not sure someone taller than me would be able to slide the seat into a comfortable position. Also, there is a problem with the floor in front of the seat. With cruise control turned on and my foot removed from the throttle pedal, there is no comfortable place to put my throttle foot, there is not enough room to position my throttle foot flat on the floor. Why? Because the hump in the floor above where the gas tank is, intrudes into this space unless the seat is pushed rather far forward. This kind of defeats the comfort advantage one expects to have as a result of setting cruise control. Set cruise control, take your foot off of the throttle pedal and set it down in a more comfortable position? There is no such position. Another comfort shortcoming is that the range of motion of the tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel is not sufficient. The way it works, the tilt-and-telescope feature seems hardly worth having. As long as I am complaining about a bunch of little things, I might as well complain about the turn signals. When you set the turn signal and turn the steering wheel to make the turn - the steering wheel blocks your view of the turn signal indicating lights on the dash. At the same time, with the engine running, with road noise, and with the HVAC fan on, even blowing gently on a mid-range setting - you can't _hear_ the turn signal either. To make sure the turn signal is on you have to repeatedly push the turn signal stalk. However the air conditioning is not strong enough even with the fan on full blast. Mostly I like the car. The CVT works very nicely. The engine revs up to redline smoothly. Acceleration is more than adequate. Steers fairly nicely. Brakes are adequate

It’s an uncommon word to use, but it means agile.
It’s basically saying the car can accelerate, brake, and change direction quickly thanks to its tight steering and brakes.
I just switched from my 2005 Saturn vue to an older Honda Fit, but I’ve got to say so far the fuel economy and the steering are significantly better than on the vue. (I know SUVs get a bad rap, but it was the only car I could afford at the time and it was reliable, alright?)

How unfortunate and how I empathise. Having perused literally countess scores of owner reports of both the Fit and Jazz models stretching back many, many years, all of them without exception speaking of painless possession the car never giving them even a hint of trouble (some with 20.000+ miles on the clock and still no bother of any kind whatsoever) your comments are the very first I've come across in dissent. Moreover the vast, vast majority of orners buy from Honda not once but repeatedly... What equally astounds me is what you have to say about Honda's attitude. I find it hard to believe seeing that thid manufacturer is globally renown for tiptop build quality and cast iron reliability but I have to accept your word. A lone saga of automotive misery which shouldn't for as much as a moment deter anyone else from acquisition.
Millions concur... However i can understand your cynicism in light of your own experience.
