I heard the most beautiful bird song coming from a tree in the yard today and it was this bird. I’m in Louisiana so it was an escapee. Probably some child’s Christmas present. Now I want one.

Do a lot of research Before getting a parrot they are years worth of commitment.

@Alfred Weber a parrot is like a cuddly toddler that never grows up. They need love and attention like a family member, not just food and cage.

amazing!!! These are definitely one of my favourite parrots! Most people have no idea they exist, a lot of people walk past them without even noticing! Here in Adelaide, I see them most days when I go for walks, there is usually a small flock on the local school oval!

the chick's were all female. as soon they have feathers they have their full colour. have a baby male that was found after the tornado on Monday. the babies look like the parents females dull and males bright the only thing that gives away whether they are mature or not is the beaks darken from yellow to black/dark grey as they mature. glad I found this channel though

They camouflage on grass so well that you can hardly see them.. Sometimes you notice one and realise there is another, and another. There could be a dozen or more!
