It wasn't until it broke and I took it for repair that I realized I had been scammed Then I found out on Chinese social media that my airpods was a classic "Huaqiangbei" version.
It doesn't manufacture anything, it is just a marketplace of vendors who mostly wholesale but many vendors retail as well. Most manufacturer factories are located far away outside the city in remote areas in Guangdong province.
