he went through a 27 day trial where he was constantly asked the "tough questions".. are you serious? A vetted unbiased jury of 12 heard 206 hours of deliberations and unanimously gave a guilty verdict. Yet you watched a biased documentary and have it all figured out. Avery admitted to the murder in prison to his cell mates, giving details to it only the killer would know. The real issue is how is it possible for a third party to move and burn Teresa's body in a burn pit directly behind Avery's trailer. Avery probably wiped down the steering wheel but forgot about the cut on his hand which left a blood stain on the dashboard. If you believe that Avery did not commit the murder then you have to believe that either the police or the "real" killer burned Teresa's body in that burnpit without anyone on the Avery property realizing it. One of the best pieces of advice for job interviews I ever got was to have something to write on and a capped pen. Having the pen gives your hands something to do that is fairly hard to notice and keeps you from doing something more noticeable. The notebook and such is to give you a cover while you put your thoughts together for a question you maybe didn’t rehearse or for something that is a longer, more complex answer but you don’t want to come across as rambling. I used it during my last job interview, making notes about some of the key points the interviewer made and then it also gave me something to reference for my answers. Besides, you mention that he’s fidgeting but at the same time ignoring the fact that he acknowledges the full question and answers it directly, with full eye contact and body positioning to give his attention to Sam or Jim.

Instead he selfishly continues to profess his innocence and drags Brandon down with him. Have you seen what Steven's appellate attorney is arguing? She claims that Steven Avery's brother in law and other son are the real killers and that they put Steven's blood in the RAV4 after finding the blood in Steven's bathroom. Preposterous ! She has completely abandoned any police conspiracy theory that was so much a part of the original documentary.

Ken Kratz "let's be critical thinkers then" Ok, care to explain why Item FL was only found on March 2, 2006 (despite previous searching of the garage) AFTER Mark Wiegert told Brendan Dassey "who shot her in the head?" and hence breaking protocol by SUPPLYING privileged information TO the suspect? Care to explain why Item FL had no noted blood, skin, hair or tissue yet when microscopically examined had no bone shards but wood and red paint? Item FL hit no bone and was not linked to any cranial fragment. How could a low velocity bullet go THROUGH multiple layers in a human body and then hit wood? Why did Sherry Culhane keep DNA SWABS from Teresa Halbach at her lab bench potentially contaminating the PCR TUBE? CARE to explain why she used up ALL the ITEM FL DNA in her PCR, so it no longer can be tested? Care to explain how the evidence from item FL was permissible when her OWN laboratory protocols dictate that NO RESULT can be obtained when the NEGATIVE CONTROL was contaminated with Culhane's own DNA? HER request for a deviation form was only for exclusionary NOT inclusionary purposes. Now you did tell Jim and Sam that, right? Did you also mention that the FBI's new EDTA test had a detection limit and that no one knows what happens to EDTA that was in blood that was from 1996? Because it wasn't detected, doesn't mean it was not present but it had degraded because of the passage of time. Did you mention that despite actively bleeding there was A LACK of blood where one would expect to see it when you consider he drove the vehicle with Brendan down to the pit? Care to explain why no blood was noted underneath the hood especially on the battery lead? Did you mention that there was a third genomic DNA PROFILE (as BLOOD) found on the outside door latch on the back of the RAV4? You know, item A23, the sample that Culhane was forced to discuss yet did not reextract and run through CODIS. BOTH Steven and Brendan were EXCLUDED as depositing A23. So who was bleeding? It could not have been Teresa's, otherwise Culhane would have said so.
Kathleen Zellner's blood splatter expert proved that the blood on the back door was not from being flung into the back of the cargo area, but from blood flung from an object like a hammer. This was recreated and matched the angle of the blood strains on the door. Who claimed the victims blood was planted? A dropper can recreate the 6 drops of blood found to belong to Steven Avery and it would of taken 2 minutes to do.
I agree the hole in the purple top blood vial is non nefarious but the blood vial WAS opened as evidenced but the presence of dried blood near the lip of the tube. Air was introduced into the blood vial.
What was Lenk, Colborn and Remiker doing at the ASY, yet the State's Coroner was barred from it and she had nothing to do with the Penny Beernsten case? Why was no forensic evidence belonging to Teresa Halbach present on the key and fob considering she used the key for years? If Steven lied about Teresa not showing up why did he keep the Auto trader magazine in his bed room yet forensically clean his trailer?
You can not prove Brendan Dassey ever encountered Teresa Halbach. Brendan was with his brother Blaine when he got off the bus and both went straight home. Why would he accept a plea deal if he never committed any crime? Kachinski and Okelly were working for YOU (the State) and not in the best interest of THEIR OWN client. BRENDAN was 100% coerced and Judge Duffin agreed. Why is Brendan still in Prison? Why didn't you place Brendan on the stand to testify against Steven?
No forensic evidence pertaining to Teresa Halbach was found in the trailer that included the carpet, the wood panelling on the walls yet left his his blood on the floor and HIS DNA on the cuffs. How do you explanation that if he meticulously cleaned his room? Why was no blood found in the garage except Steven's?
Wait, he butchered Teresa in front of his Nephew yet he left the RAV4 with HIS BLOOD in it? Why not drive it to the quarry and burn it? All Ken is doing is speculating on his theories.
Everyone knows, except the MTSO, that most people are killed by those who know them the most. This was a case of tunnel vision from the get go. The MTSO did exactly this previously with the Penny Beernsten case letting the REAL rapist Gregory Allan to terrorise women for 10 further years.
If Wiegert phoned Colborn previously with details of the missing vehicle why did Colborn phone dispatch? Let me guess, he doesn't write anything down until several years later?
If there was a tonne of bleach in the garage then how come DNA was found on the bullet (item FL) and that Stephen Avery’s DNA was found in the garage on the ground? WHY, despite jack hammering the cement was no blood found belonging to Teresa Halbach? Why were there no "pools of blood" in the back of the RAV4?
Umm...Ken, you still are a full on Narcissist - it's in your DNA. It is interesting how you blame your behaviour on drugs and your sexual addiction and then try and trivialise it yet you label Stephen Avery as a rapist and sexual deviant without any evidence. Have you know shame? You have no qualms giving a damaging press conference on March 2nd, prior to any trial, yet you complain your sordid details are leaked to the press to "ruin your life"? Pot, kettle, black.
Your drug of choice was sex, Ken? Is that where you got the idea that Steven was sweating when he answered the door to Brendan or did you get that from listening in to the phone calls between Steven and family members and friends?
Is it any wonder that 75% of verified Amazon customers that your book 1 star out of 5? Your interview detailed exactly why Ken. I just hope your nemesis Zellner puts you on the stand to test the voracity of the forensic evidence against Steven.

So to find any so called skin cell DNA from Avery on her car would not prove anything.Especially when you consider that this is an area where because of the cold cars frequently can break down or not start and need a jump. This could explain his skin being anywhere on her car.. what is more suspicious is do you think for one second that if he was so through that he wouldn't have worn gloves while handling her car.would he park her car in his lot when he could have easily towed it and dumped in one of the thick woods in the area. Also when he has won millions and has a check for $400k waiting for him to pick up would do this crime with a mentally impaired kid who for sure would get him caught. Is Avery just that stupid or if not stupid insane. No something else happened to this woman and Avery was a convenient patsy. .

The look on Brendan’s face as he studied his account on paper? When his lawyer asked where is the Murder and Brendan obviously is thinking "What Murder" or who is Teresa Halbach?

If that is the case, how did law enforcement get the key in order to plant it in Avery's bedroom

Statement from PETA Senior Director Colleen O’Brien in response to Making a Murderer‘s incomplete treatment of Steven Avery’s prior abuse of animals:
Too often, cruelty to animals is swept under the rug, as seems to have happened in Making a Murderer when filmmakers omitted specific details about how Avery, at age 20, doused the family cat with lighter fluid before throwing him onto a fire. Avery was convicted of misdemeanor cruelty to animals for killing the cat and served only nine months. Fortunately, today, the FBI recognizes cruelty to animals as a precursor to further violence and tracks animal abuse like it does homicides, and cruelty to animals is also a felony in most states. The filmmakers were wrong to gloss over this important information, and viewers are rightly upset.

      @RavensFanJ 3 месяца назад

That's actually pretty cool to meet anyone involved with the case. I've met some of the press, but that's all. That being said.
There's even more evidence against Avery than there is in the Scott Peterson and Barry Morphew investigations, just to name a few.
The biggest evidence against Avery is: The RAV found on his property with both his and Teresa's blood in multiple places within. Her remains found in his burn pit and burn barrels, along with her electronic devices. Bullets found in his garage, one of which had Teresa's DNA on it and was ballistically matched to the. 22 caliber rifle that hung above his bed. A luminol reactant spot in the garage near the mower Dassey claimed her body was by. The key to Teresa's vehicle which was discovered in his trailer (not after 7 searches but 7 entries - a very common misconception). 1st entry was a body check only and before they found the RAV, 2nd was for a PC serial number and the auto trader book, 3rd was for the rifle, etc etc until the 7th entry which was for a thorough search of the bedroom.
Then there's the circumstantial evidence against him: The *67 calls to her phone before arrival + non *67 call after. Him taking off work that day and not returning which even according to him he never did. His property being the last stop she made that day on her photo shoots, as well as being her last known location and him being the last known person to see her.
And the anecdotal evidence against him: Bobby testifying he saw her with him the day of the crime. Robert Fabian testifying he saw Avery burning things in the barrel they later found her electronics. The auto trader woman who says Teresa mentioned the creepy behavior of Avery to.

I think it's Teresa Halback's ex-boy friend, Ryan Hillegas. He has motive, He was angry at her for breaking up with her and one thing lead to another. Since the police already didn't like Steven Avery because of the huge law suit of $32,000,000 I think it was 32 million, but anyway who was right their cooperating with the police, Rayn, remember hi leading and organizing the search party, Police ruled him out right away, they new they had their guy. BUT, it gave Ryan free rein to come and go on Avery's property, able to place some incriminating evidence.

Page 9 of Kratz states in his book, the evening of Nov 3rd, Inv Mark Wiegert shows up at Kratz door, AND TELLS KRATZ AVERY WAS LAST PERSON TO SEE HER, Kratz was brought on board hours after TH reported missing, and thus Kratz reveals in his book of Wiegert's satisfaction Avery was last stop. Kratz makes statements that are not significant, like the .22 bullet in the garage was from the gun in his trailer, duh, where else would it come from? There are holes shot through the garage, Avery is a rough person who grew up in a salvage yard!! It's a .22, it's a pee-shooter. Anyone who is around guns knows this. The trailer and .22 rifle owner testifies that when he lived there, he fired that rifle an estimated 2,500-3,000 times on the property, "all over". The lack of blood spatter in the garage is what Kratz should acknowledge, you can't clean up all of that, which is why it didn't happen!
