I’m sure you’ve probably had some comments about it already, but the other trucks you had pulled up were mostly 2500s which are bigger trucks with bigger engines. The one that was 20,000 was most likely a diesel so that would be why the price is significantly higher than the other ones.
I was thinking the same once I saw the size of the truck and cab lights. (Don’t know if non diesels have cab lights or not, but the truck looks like a diesel).
Yea it had a diesel badge just above the lettering and saying it was a 04 it could be a lly duramax and saying it only had 88k on it it’s like scratching too high but still reasonable
@@MikeHawkHurtz biggest giveaway that a GMC from 2003-2007 is a. 2500 is the black spacer piece between the grill and the bumper and those accordion looking mirrors are typically a indicator it's a diesel cause the gas trucks then didn't come with tow mirrors

I enjoy your complete tutorial videos. I do almost all of my car maintenance and repairs so it's nice to see how you troubleshoot and overcome easy and difficult repairs. Good work.
You did an excellent job all around on the truck and the video. Bought a well-used black 03 Silverado Z71 with decent wheels and a shell for with 270k for $2000. I let seller tell me his price but he didn't know the crazy high used prices. Gave him a cash deposit and and wrote bill of sale on a paper scrap. Much regret from the seller later on when I went to close out the deal and pick up the truck. Now they have gone even higher. Like usual, it just needed some TLC and it's-new-to-me energy from a new owner. I found the best way clean spilled-on carpet and get rid of that old truck stench is just pull the carpet out and pressure wash it along with the padding. Then hang it to dry out in full sun for a couple days
I just found your channel and it’s probably the best car flipping channel I’ve seen. No silly music and no bullshit, just straight to the point. I love how you tell the down sides as well. I hope to get 90’s Chevy or gmc and flip like you do. Those trucks just don’t get the attention they deserve.
This series is crack to me seriously. Tons of companies can easily get on with sponsoring with some parts which in turn, churns out more profitability for you. It'd probably be worth your while to reach out to a few vendors you've worked with in the past and show the analytics of this series. How many views you get and how that could equal more sales for them if they were in your videos.
Wish everyone that sold used cars fixed them up to this point like you do. An actual good used car salesman, very very rare. Saved this car from going to the junkyard

First time I ever saw this channel & I am subscribed. No nonsense, passion to get a good job done and sharing genuine knowledge. Love what I saw!! For a guy who wants to learn about cars I think I am at the right place.
The uneven brake wear is super common. In my experience removing, cleaning, and greasing the pins for the caliper will fix it. Usually one of the two pins is dry and isn’t moving well or seizing. Cost you a little time and pennies worth of grease.
I love all your videos. Please include the hourly breakdown at the end in all your videos. I’d like if you could upload more videos. I know it’s a lot of work but I love these videos.
Hey buddy, just started watching your videos, really inspiring! Bc of you I'll be restoring my headlights & painting the plastic trim from now on. Very educational videos & love the content, im learning a ton keep it coming! Thanks!
I love these types of videos, you thoroughly and easily explain a lot of problems people can do theirselves. It’s also cool that you make money off of these cars, and essentially give them a new life, otherwise they might have ended up in a junk yard a few years later👍🏼 awesome job
I never comment but this is awesome. Im a huge car guy and the in depth breakdown is super interesting and I'm always down to watch someone find a good deal like this and fix it up themselves. I would love to do this with a similar truck and keep it for myself. You made out really good either way if you had chosen to keep it.

Absolutely great video buddy, saying hi from London and I flip cars as well for 3 years now and it’s great fun, but watching your videos I am learning so much things such as detailing things as they are so important when selling a car, great job man honestly thanks mate 👍
Hey man, I love the videos! I would really appreciate a vid on how you deal with insurance, and titling, and flipping more than a certain number of cars a year without a dealer license, thanks very much!
He isn't doing any of that... bc if he was, the DMV enforcement would be all over him after a certain length of time... You can get away with it for a while, and lots do, but once you stop getting away with it, the DMV cops are NOT NICE about it, nor are the judges. And, this is a TRUE STORY.. just happened about 2 weeks ago, just before Christmas. A potential buyer went on a test drive and got in a wreck. Minor wreck, but he hit the car in front of him while taking a left turn, and barely hit the bumper of the car in front of him. BUT, the driver in the other car immediately called the cops, demanded insurance, and claimed her neck hurt. It happens, and if you're doing it like this guy, one little stupid thing like that, and you're f****d. The DMV cops will be all over you, and they don't play nice, nor do the judges, or the taxing authorities for not paying sales tax, or your insurance company folks It can get really ugly, really fast.
That pickup at 3:50 listed for $20k has a duramax diesel badge on it and only 88k miles. Thats actually cheaper then what something like that seems to go for currently being a diesel with that low of miles.

dang you make these cars look so good, you don’t just buy them to sell a piece of crap to people. you really make them worth it. that truck where i live would easily sell for about 12k in probably 2 days
Excellent video. I bought my 05 4x4 1500 in excellent condition over a year ago. It is doing great still and I'm adding new upgrades and keeping it clean. Love these trucks. Much respect for doing a professional job and documenting it so well. Looking forward to seeing more of these
Well done sir - straight to the highlights without dragging out. I have a strong interest in doing a flip like this as well...just not as proficient with engine/chassis repair so, I'd probably lose a good chunk of profit paying someone to outsource it.
First off these videos are very entertaining to watch and seeing the process is interesting. My dad listed his old Colorado on Facebook marketplace and within an hour he had offers. A man from another state came all to our house, paid us, and left lol
Ill buy any car off you idc people like you don't come as often very trustworthy great video btw this is one of me favorite trucks if i stayed close by you i would have drop stopped everything i was doing just to come get that truck also run red lights
Hi, I've been watching a lot of your videos over the past couple of days. The info you provide is amazing. I'm curious about a couple of things - 1) how quickly do you typically get these cars sold once purchased, and 2) what do you do about paperwork, like titling, insurance, etc., while you have the cars. Let me know. Thanks!
This is what I do on the side. I usually stick around the 2-3k price range for my self when buying and usually invest 1k minimum. Usually sell for about 6-7k. I always set aside the profit, then go back in again with the original 2-3k. Easy 10-12k profit a month if you can roll one every week.
What do you do about dealer restrictions? I've been looking into doing this, but most states restrict you to selling 5 or 10 a year unless you've got a dealer's license.
I think what he does is he doesn't get the title into his name. Thats what I would do. Just leave the title signed by previous owner and never get it put into my name.@@level710stoner
Really enjoy watching your content my man, you do great work with great details of all of it!! This is exactly the type of things I wanna start doing soon as I can get some money for a scan tool and maybe few other items before going with it. That all said im open to all and anyone's advice to help me become successful in taking the next step towards my dreams of working for myself, once again great content and thank you for sharing your experiences!!
Really great video that earned a sub! I can tell that you really did put a lot of hours into this. Question: What do you do with the net profits? How much of it do you use to invest in the next vehicle, and how much do you keep for things like bills and personal income? Thanks!
While I do appreciate all the solid repairs you did you could’ve saved a ton by going to an LKQ or picknpull yard for majority of this stuff. And as for the ABS module there’s repair companies that warranty their work and it’s usually about 1/3 the cost of a new module.
At first I feel sad I can't do all this but then I remember I have 0 tools... 😂 I'm a certified AMT and in the future I def want to flip a few cars just for fun, your series is amazing and so fun to watch!! Really inspiring fs!
Awesome videos, been itching to pick up another vehicle after daily driving and then flipping a cheap truck I got while I was restoring my actual daily. I appreciate you breaking down all the time invested realistically but I’m curious the amount of days it took you to complete this project? (from purchase to sale). All the best, cheers
Hey man I was just curious how do you do this full time from your house with the dealership laws? I want to do this but the state says you need a location that’s not a residence and all this other stuff if you want to sell more than 5 cars a year. I love working on cars and want to flip full time but I don’t want to just dive right in by renting a commercial space and all the other stuff, I like the low overhead of doing it from home.
Wow. This was a very VERY good video. I know nothing about servicing vehicles, yet I was locked in the whole time. Just wow. No words to describe how much I enjoyed it. Thank you sir
This is the first vid I have ever seen of yours. It was a random RUclips suggestion. I have zero interest in theses trucks. But they way your present the info, keep a good past, and are realistic with all the steps you take kept me around for the whole video. Keep up the great content. Like you said, I can’t imagine all the time in editing and setting up each shot for each short clip took.
what do you do about taxes, title, registration, notary fees, document fees and insurance? I get every state is different, as I'm in PA and we can't get away with title jumping or its huge fines or worse. THEY want their tax money over and over again so the little guy, like me, cannot get ahead. It works.. I tried flipping a few and that stuff always hits my profit margin HARD. taxes are killer. It is very difficult to sell a vehicle that isn't currently registered and insured..(buyer wants to know why its not roadworthy) we also have to deal with safety inspections and some counties require emissions.. and to get it inspected...... you guessed it, needs to be currently registered and insured. all added costs. so if I am able to find a GREAT deal on a vehicle, it usually only makes me a few hundred dollars, not thousands. Not even worth my time. Need a dealer's licence to really be profitable and a license is damn near impossible to obtain in PA. Great content in your video. Appreciate what you're doing. I would not be able to accomplish your profit on this exact vehicle.
I know a lot of people don’t like buying cars from mechanically inclined sellers, but that’s what i look for when i bought my first and second car. I know they know what they’re doing and i’m getting a good and reliable car. Awesome video man, would be great to buy a car from you

I was thinking the same once I saw the size of the truck and cab lights. (Don’t know if non diesels have cab lights or not, but the truck looks like a diesel).
Yeah it was a 3500
Yea it had a diesel badge just above the lettering and saying it was a 04 it could be a lly duramax and saying it only had 88k on it it’s like scratching too high but still reasonable
Duramax indeed
@@MikeHawkHurtz biggest giveaway that a GMC from 2003-2007 is a. 2500 is the black spacer piece between the grill and the bumper and those accordion looking mirrors are typically a indicator it's a diesel cause the gas trucks then didn't come with tow mirrors
This is unsarcastically one of the best RUclips channels I've ever encountered. Let's go Buddy!!!
Man this is the kind of video I wouldn't mind watching 2 hours without skipping. The way you explain each and every detail is amazing. Please don't stop!
Never stop making these, as a car enthusiast in his 20s and from Florida . Your videos have been godsend!
This series is crack to me seriously. Tons of companies can easily get on with sponsoring with some parts which in turn, churns out more profitability for you. It'd probably be worth your while to reach out to a few vendors you've worked with in the past and show the analytics of this series. How many views you get and how that could equal more sales for them if they were in your videos.
so inspiring. I’m mid-way through flipping my own car and i’m falling in love with this hobby- I want to work on cars for the rest of my life hahah
Wish everyone that sold used cars fixed them up to this point like you do. An actual good used car salesman, very very rare. Saved this car from going to the junkyard
How to flip cars:
Step 1: Start car
Step 2: Push the gas pedal all the way down until you get to about 60 mph
Step 3: Suddenly jerk the steering wheel all the way to one side
Bruh lmaooo
💀
🤣
literally
Hahaha
Great job my man. That truck looked real nice when you finished. I just flipped a 2001 Silverado made 2700. Keep up the great content.
how do you handle title situation on your flips?
Great video Buddy. I wish I had your mechanical know-how as I’d love to give this a go. I guess I’ll have to settle for watching you do it instead. Keep up the great work.
Buddy is truly the real deal. Step by step. No BS, gives you links to tools in description and does not hide secrets to getting into the game
This dude is amazing from buying a car until selling it all in one vid that’s great plus he is very informative
Keep going dude good luck
First time I ever saw this channel & I am subscribed. No nonsense, passion to get a good job done and sharing genuine knowledge. Love what I saw!! For a guy who wants to learn about cars I think I am at the right place.
I love to see how the editing is gradually improving. Great stuff!
The uneven brake wear is super common. In my experience removing, cleaning, and greasing the pins for the caliper will fix it. Usually one of the two pins is dry and isn’t moving well or seizing. Cost you a little time and pennies worth of grease.
This is what I miss about Florida’s you have real men love your channel love your work
You did such a good job and went above and beyond. The new owner got a steal!
A truck like that here in eastern NC would easily sell for $10k-$15k.
Do you ever use Copart? Would love to see you do this with a Copart purchase
Please post these car flip videos more often. I love the way you break down everything including the parts, money, and time invested chart!
Every video gets better and better! Your content is amazing!! This was an amazing 40 minutes of pure entertainment. Love from Estonia.
Thank you!
The labor chart and breakdown of the hours is really helpful, that aspect is rarely explored beyond a rough estimate.
You’re a beast dude. Quality video quality editing and extra quality mechanic work right here.
I appreciate you my man 🙏🙏
I love all your videos. Please include the hourly breakdown at the end in all your videos. I’d like if you could upload more videos. I know it’s a lot of work but I love these videos.
Watching this video is like watching that TV show that you dont want to end
Hey buddy, just started watching your videos, really inspiring! I've been flipping Cars awhile now myself & recently graduated to being a used car dealer & believe it most cars I buy at the dealer auctions need TLC and so excited to get an order in with lithium & seat doctor. Bc of you I'll be restoring my headlights & painting the plastic trim from now on. Very educational videos & love the content, im learning a ton keep it coming! Thanks!
You put so much work, any buyer can honestly feel very confident buying from you.
I love these types of videos, you thoroughly and easily explain a lot of problems people can do theirselves. It’s also cool that you make money off of these cars, and essentially give them a new life, otherwise they might have ended up in a junk yard a few years later👍🏼 awesome job
I literally love these videos so much! Been checking the channel everyday for this video to come out since the last video!
I never comment but this is awesome. Im a huge car guy and the in depth breakdown is super interesting and I'm always down to watch someone find a good deal like this and fix it up themselves. I would love to do this with a similar truck and keep it for myself. You made out really good either way if you had chosen to keep it.
This may be one of my favorite top ten channels. Great process, description and graphics. This guy is a hustler. A lot of hard work but not a bad wage per hour I guess.
This is the most all-arounder diy channel. Kudos to you bro.
I wish I could learn from someone like you. I’m a hands on learner but still absolutely love watching these videos knowing damn well I’d never have the balls to go out and do this alone.
Absolutely great video buddy, saying hi from London and I flip cars as well for 3 years now and it’s great fun, but watching your videos I am learning so much things such as detailing things as they are so important when selling a car, great job man honestly thanks mate 👍
Thanks chaj. If you have any questions you can always message me on Instagram!
@@BuddysDIY no simping buddy!
@@johannesCCR 😂😂 That profile pic is fake bro. I aon't a simping. Just helping 😭
@@BuddysDIY its Kenny!
Hey man, I love the videos! I would really appreciate a vid on how you deal with insurance, and titling, and flipping more than a certain number of cars a year without a dealer license, thanks very much!
U know exactly...
The DMV cops will be all over you, and they don't play nice, nor do the judges, or the taxing authorities for not paying sales tax, or your insurance company folks
It can get really ugly, really fast.
That pickup at 3:50 listed for $20k has a duramax diesel badge on it and only 88k miles. Thats actually cheaper then what something like that seems to go for currently being a diesel with that low of miles.
This type of video reminds me of Chris Fix and I love it! The attention to detail is of the charts and I can’t wait to see all of your new content. Keep up the good work bro, much love ❤️
Love these videos, I know you have to wait for good deals to pop up, but if these were a main staple of your channel you’d grow so much more ! Keep it up
I watched some of your old flip videos while working on my cars last fall. They weren't bad at all, but this video is so good! I can tell you out 40h into editing.
dang you make these cars look so good, you don’t just buy them to sell a piece of crap to people. you really make them worth it. that truck where i live would easily sell for about 12k in probably 2 days
Um, where do you live? Cause I got a real nice one with 94k original miles?!
FINALLY GOAT IS BACK!!!
🙏🙏💪💪🐐🐐🐐🐐
I respect the effort
First off these videos are very entertaining to watch and seeing the process is interesting. My dad listed his old Colorado on Facebook marketplace and within an hour he had offers. A man from another state came all to our house, paid us, and left lol
Ill buy any car off you idc people like you don't come as often very trustworthy great video btw this is one of me favorite trucks if i stayed close by you i would have drop stopped everything i was doing just to come get that truck also run red lights
Thank you *patriciawillams0* you are the best i'll recommend to anyone for any situation.
Thanks!
Love these Flip Videos! Hope to do this stuff soon! Those free tools would be dope! Much love🤘🏼
You have some serious talent. With videos/editing and as a mechanic. I love to see the transformation of these vehicles! Great great work!
Really enjoy watching your content my man, you do great work with great details of all of it!! This is exactly the type of things I wanna start doing soon as I can get some money for a scan tool and maybe few other items before going with it. I've always been around this type of stuff growing up with my step-dad doing it but that was also before technology came as far as it has but im coming up on 40yrs old and just tired of working for someone to help them be successful and this is something I wish I had started doing so much sooner in life, unfortunately I just wSnt in the position to do so till about a yr ago.
Thanks!
All depends what I got going on for projects man!
While I do appreciate all the solid repairs you did you could’ve saved a ton by going to an LKQ or picknpull yard for majority of this stuff. And as for the ABS module there’s repair companies that warranty their work and it’s usually about 1/3 the cost of a new module.
Buddy! You are a true humble American person for your expertise in DIY. Keep up your excellent content and works!!!!
Your video editing skills= 10 out of 10
Love your videos. Watching from South Africa 🇿🇦
Thank you *patriciawillams0* you are the best i'll recommend to anyone for any situation.
Hey man I was just curious how do you do this full time from your house with the dealership laws? I want to do this but the state says you need a location that’s not a residence and all this other stuff if you want to sell more than 5 cars a year. I love working on cars and want to flip full time but I don’t want to just dive right in by renting a commercial space and all the other stuff, I like the low overhead of doing it from home.
dude your videos are so awesome, wish you luck on your journey to 500k and beyond!
Wow. This was a very VERY good video. I know nothing about servicing vehicles, yet I was locked in the whole time. Just wow. No words to describe how much I enjoyed it. Thank you sir
Instructions unclear, car is upside down
That 20000 dollar truck was a duramax well worth it
…..are you high?
not 3 years ago but now… different story
The only way to flip is to get them almost for free or screw the next guy over
This is the first vid I have ever seen of yours.
This channel and The Car Care Nut have become my main source of entertainment. Amazing job as always Buddy. 🔥
what do you do about taxes, title, registration, notary fees, document fees and insurance?
Awesome video man, would be great to buy a car from you
I’m new to your channel. I have seen 3 flips so far and to be honest, for the little amount of money you are making doing all these fixes, you are really doing community service for those people who buy your cars. I really enjoy and learn watching your videos. Thank you.
Buddy's professionalism on it's peak 🙌
If you had a worksheet to write down expenses and things when checking out a vehicle to know what needed fixed/researched if someone wasn’t sure (aka us that aren’t as mechanically gifted)
I've subscribed to study English. Really, Your way of narrating is awesome, I like it very much. After I start the video I lose the reality and an hour of my time is gone. Kind of magic!
I came across this channel about a week or two ago and it’s literally the best channel out there, I’m getting into the car flipping hustle and am going to get started asap
Thanks!
