  • Yes, it’s brittle. Take your time putting it together, either tap the holes or add some oil to the screws and gentle put them in and you’ll be fine. I’ve used clear and chrome cables, clear cirrus servo, and made a clear case for my receiver. Paint is Tamiya translucent silver. Take your time with that. The dark colour is gun metal. I tried doing it with smoke but messed it up. Decals are from MCI racing in Canada. Enjoy your build.

    Hands down, the nicest RC10CC out there. The translucent silver paint and the black/white/silver decals were a home-run idea. Add the details like the motor wires, etc. and you nailed it, Nick.

    A great build, I always thought clear plastic could be a problem with being a little brittle. At the price point better quality on some of the parts needed and no bearings as if they know it will only sit on a shelf. Like the wire and motor touch 🙂
