- In this episode we open box the rc or rc’s lol! That has changed the game in all of rc Did I say all of radio control cars? Yes I did. The very instant this buggy got made by Roger Curtis and released 1984 the whole rc world flipped over on it’s ABS bodies. This thing was slick, light, and cutting edge technology. Its even made its way into Hollywood. 80’s pop culture cool! This will no doubt be one or shall I say two of the most content induced rc videos to come out on my channel and nothing has ever been done like this before. Luke’s Vintage RC says well it’s been 40 years since it’s unveiling let’s do it three times times in a two part series. A unboxing of vintage that’s semi built for restoration, the CC gets unboxed and built alongside the 40th anniversary edition built and all to be driven. Please show your support by subscribing. You're a true hobbyist Luke, im most anxious to see your paintjob on the driver figure. That's not an easy one to paint, I believe that is why most rc10s you see never have them installed. You're a pro. im sure it'll be a masterpiece
Oh man I haven’t ever painted a driver for one of these. Could be exciting. Racers back in the day didn’t really care. So far building is going pretty good. Masterpiece will be a stretch but I think it’s going to be alright. Fun fun time in vintage rc. Big thanks my friend your too kind.😊

Hi Addam, yeah I’m excited believe me , not gonna lie my daughter is putting pressure on me a bit for our Build together so these a bit of push but as usual I’ll keep it relatively smooth. Thank you again ✌️
I just finished my 40th RC10. It’s a real looker. That transmission build is interesting though especially the spur/ball diff with thrust bearing assembly

@@LukesVintageRC that transmission is odd for sure. The manual leaves a lot to be desired too. My favorite brand to build is Kyosho by far. Tamiya is ok but Kyosho is just next level

Wow! Very cool. I still have my original RC10 and RC10t truck that I used to race. Both of those cars have the RPM conversion. I even have the Trinity Pink can and Green can motors which what was used back then for racing in the stock class. Thoughts?
