I plan on buying a brumby for mudding and camping, gonna follow along as you build up yours for inspiration and probably how to’s. Keep the good videos coming mate.
I have a 1979 I might sell for the right price, new axles in the front, 2bbl weber carb, new alternator, was driving daily but would not pass imissions here in Phoenix AZ, new brakes in the front,
all dirt roads, in the United States of America save, save, save, on road poles, use trees, to nail in speed limit signs, no stop lights, "Go Around" And to save again use less, oil on the road ways, traveled on today again save, save, save, "Start Small To Be Big" Andrew David McCloskey worried about loss, of jobs, fine learn to make dirt "Joe Dirt," told me that one, ya me and "Joe" tennis champs, "ON Dirt"
That's new news to me bet they would want a fortune for the parts tho so I'm still right as I have more experience with these cars then you the cars themselves aren't collectable just a farm ute so I won't get ripped off by people who think there going to get top dollar for parts for a farm ute
Don't need a apprenticeship, I had a Brumby when farming sheeps wool was Australia's backbone did well over a million KM in before it died went from station to station worked on lot of different properties so it's reliable but a the end of the day it's still just a farm ute not worth much had a look at the websites you suggested not impressed on there prices so I was right to much for what the ute is but if I had the opportunity to get one cheap again I would buy one but only if it's cheap and if a young dick head didn't flogg it
Jake 1 I just made a rear tail pipe for it. It’s a 2.5 inch stainless into a 2.5 to 4 inch cannon. The cannon is hard mounted to the tow bar. I put a stainless flex joint at the cannon so the rest of the factory system can move free and allow the cannon to sit in the position I wanted. Soon I’ll build heads and the rest of the exhaust system
Really underrated here in U.S. Michigan.... They tended to rust out fast with all the winter road salt.
I’ve only seen pictures of the rust belt and it looks horrible. Australia does still have rust but nothing like that
Brother had a 80s wagon and in the mid 90s it was already apile of rust in 10ish years.
Can already tell this is gonna be a sick montage
Thanks mate

@@angryengineering excelente thanks for answering
The Brumby was going to be my first car but parts are too hard to come by now there's no point in buying one
Subarino and pro spare have pretty much everything. They have quite a following so more parts/mods are coming available
That's new news to me bet they would want a fortune for the parts tho so I'm still right as I have more experience with these cars then you the cars themselves aren't collectable just a farm ute so I won't get ripped off by people who think there going to get top dollar for parts for a farm ute
@@REVY01 The brumby is a farm ute, So is every other commercial vehicle. How many years post apprenticeship are you? I only qualified 3 years ago.
