I gathered main theme of poem and poet biography briefly here it’s leisure poem is sonnet main theme of poem we should abandon our material pursuits and establish firm contact with nature to lead rich diverse life poem starts with hetorical question is sure you will agree with him that important to have free time . Conclusion of poem life which is bogged down by worry that allows on time for leisure is indeed miserable life . Poet describes nature very beautifully and calls our life poor because it’s full of worries and doesn’t have appreciate nature beauty. Poet is William Henry Devi’s ( born in1871 - died in 1940) he was welsh poet , writer who spent much of his life as tramp or hobo in uk and USA yet became one of most popular poets of his time his themes included observations on life hardships ways human conditions is reflected in nature his tramping adventures characters he met he is usually classed as Georgian poets though much of his works is not typical of group in style or theme .
