    This song is proof that the simplest of songs can be a masterpiece. Gotta love Pink Floyd!!

    So simple, and yet so classic.
    I really hope more people make videos like this. Clear lighting on the guitar with the tabs at the bottom. It’s the best way to learn how to play a song. So useful. 😊

    Awesome playthrough! Writing down the timings makes this really great, I always manage to get them wrong

    Thanks for a clear lesson, especially showing the tab that's in time with the playing. This is very useful.

    just wanted to say you should do a cover on sweetest goodbye, I feel like you'd probably like the solo on the song. I wanna also learn it too but its nice to learn from the best!!!

    The constant time signature changes is the one thing that makes this song difficult to play accurately, thank you very much for clarifying the different rythms.

    That’s an interesting Martin guitar. What model is it?
    You can’t see any wood grain beneath the finish… Is the finish matte or something-was it painted-on?

      It’s a junior dreadnaught. DJR-10E (I think). And yes it’s a matte finish…

      @@SparkyGuitar Oh, nice! What all acoustics do you have, Sparky?
      For me, I have a Taylor 714ce and a vintage Gibson 1970’s J-50.
      I also have a lawsuit-era Japanese made Ibanez Concord. (Which is a Martin D-18 copy with all maple construction. (Even a maple fretboard! Which is super rare).

    • @SparkyGuitar

      Correct... it's a DJR10E... which my son seems to have decided is his!

    It would've been nice if the tuning were pitched correctly...

    • @SparkyGuitar
      @SparkyGuitar  7 месяцев назад +2

      Blame Pink Floyd! I’m just playing along to the original recording… and the original track isn’t at concert pitch. Details are I. The description… you need to set your tuner to 444Hz
