Hello again PF fans,
When I got asked what is my favorite song in the world ,the answer is Dogs" by PF (which is also the longest song I'm playing..)"
Just love the intensity, the solos, the amazing production and the fact it never bores me, even not for a second.
I tried to bring all these details and little fills into my arrangement, a lot of this Tnx to my friend Amir, that helped me get the exact sound changes I wanted.
Hope you'll enjoy the journey as much as I did.
p.s 1- I allowed myself to skip like 3 minuets of the instrumental part in the middle. It was just too much haha
p.s 2- The reason I'm not playing it in the original tuning (all the guitar 1 step down) is because of arrangement considerations.
It's just has more open chords in these standard tuning, so I can bring more instruments and information inside

I was a bit suspicious at first, but when he reached the first quick Gilmour's solo where he put all the accents on the guitar right I knew he meant business. This song is imprinted in my mind I remember every single note as it was on the record.

When someone asks me why Animals is my favourite album, the shortest answer I can give them is that note at 3:33. I simply find it one of the most important and beautiful notes ever played on a guitar

What a joy. As a lifelong Pink Floyd fan, 50+ years now, Dogs is in my opinion their best creation. Gilmour’s guitar work in particular.
People ramble on about Comfortably Numb being one of the best solos of all time, but the solos on Dogs are far superior in my opinion.
It’s such a shame that they were so opposed to their concerts being filmed back then, there as far as I know isn’t any recordings of them performing it, and Gilmour never played anything from Animals after the split from Waters, probably because the tensions were so high during it’s recording.
So thank you. I always enjoy your videos and this one was something special to me.

Not sure what I love more, the performance, or how Yoni's performance brought together so many kindred souls that have obviously been touched by THE Band (PF), THE album (Animals), THE song (Dogs) and THE performance (Yoni). Each so singular and meaningful. Eternally grateful to the higher power that brought me the original 45 years ago and the performance by Yoni I found today. It is beautiful when art like this can connect so many souls from so far away. I think this is the first post I remember ever seeing without a "dislike". No surprise there.

I have very much enjoyed many of your acoustic covers,man. At least once,I enjoyed your cover of a song that I do not otherwise care for. But this is certainly not the case,as THIS has been my favorite song of all time for many years now. Pulled right off of my favorite album that,in turn,was lovingly and ingeniously crafted by my favorite band. It's not just your skill or the way you find ways to arrange these songs for a single acoustic player/vocalist. The selections themselves count for a lot.

This is trully a masterpiece acoustic arrangement of one of my Floyd's faves. You managed to orchestrate in the acoustic guitar all the key parts and the right expression to each one of them. That's a very refined work. Great vocals and the sound capture with the condenser was spotless. Kudos!!
