For me the most impressive thing is that even when you technically can't play each notes of the solo, you play the most importants ones which makes our brain recognize the whole melody as if each notes was played.

@@sixmillionsilencedaccounts3517 The genius is in the arranging. I mean obviously he has great chops too, but I can play some of his arrangements from his tutorials. But there is no way on earth I could have worked them out myself.
Most solos are based in chord tones. So instead of playing individual notes the melody of the solo is already in built into the chords.
I was astounded by the playing but then I completely lost it when he started singing during the outtro. This guy is from another planet. Take a bow man!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏

@@Freitas.g Pelo pouco que eu sei, ele usa a técnica de "redução" ou "transcrição" se preferir. Ela é muito difundida pelos violonistas do estilo "fingerstyle" que basicamente mescla a harmonia (acordes) com a melodia (solos) para que quando executado pelo único instrumento, ele soe mais fiel possível ao arranjo original. Os acordes são de fato faceis porque a harmonia em sí é simples. Mas a complexidade está em mesclar os outros elementos da composição (que vieram de outros instrumentos tipo piano...) e soar agradável. Ele faz até o som do vento. 😁 Sem contar que ele canta muito.
