Thank you so much David!! All this info will help for sure, i learned an abundance here, i have grown them and they were slightly in the area they were grown damaged by my cat. I had heirloom seeds given to me from Germany as a special gift, they remind me of my Grand mama as she grew them. Thank you so much David ❤

Thank you so much from a U.K. watcher. I’m binge watching your channel. I first watched your video on sweet peas, then those beautiful olive trees and now this. Love your inspiring and clear teaching methods.

Thank you David! This was incredibly informative, so much so, that I may give these lovely plants another go. Mine always seemed to get overwhelmed with pests or the rusty stuff. And looked quite sickly.

Agree. I have lost one to bugs and have to dust mine with DE routinely. And squirrels.☹️ I now need to watch for established plants in the future, I’ve had so much trouble starting mine in the ground from seed, being used to seeing them as alleyweeds growing up, I’ve been frustrated how long my sown plants have taken to establish themselves.☹️
I’ll take these tips here to heart in the future.👌🏻

The tallest hollyhock I ever grew: It went past the guttering of the roof & the leaves were like dinner plates. The flowers weren’t much smaller, either.
